What is up with the hooks clustered together situation?!?
It super annoying from a survivor perspective the killer seems to always have hooks clustered together sometimes 4 in the space of 30 meters! I play killer and survivor equally so it's not an ignorant survivor complaint but my god something is ######### up here. It used to be you had a small chance to wiggle off a killers shoulder if they didnt choose the right hook first time but now you can legit sabo the 2 closest hooks to them and they will still find another hook close by easy. I know this map must be harder to place more spread out hooks but why not just have less hooks for smaller maps?

Hooks are placed 12, 14, or 16 meters apart depending on map and tiles. an addon can reduce this by 2 or increase it by 1. A killer who drops you at a random spot will on average be able to get you to a minimum of 3 and maximum of 6 distinct hooks depending on obstructions. This is by design.

Unfortunately, no. Sabotaging is getting overhauled next patch. Sabotage can be finished in the time a killer takes to recover from a hit, but hooks only stay sabo'd for 30 seconds

I don't even struggle on the killers shoulder anymore cuz its just too depressing to get a third of the way through only to realise you're 100% gonna get hooked :/ makes the wiggle a little pointless.

Also boil over needs something extra, the amount of times I've equipped boil over thinking I might get a couple escapes only to get hooked just as easily makes me wanna alt f4. I think saboteur should have allowed you to sabo a hook on the map that once complete leaves the hook in tact but if the killer uses it to hook a survivor within a certain timeframe of it being sabo'd the hook will break during the hook animation and the survivor falls to the floor. That would make me wanna use it

Boil over isnt intended to be a "get out of jail free" card. It's there to slow the killer down somewhat to get teammates to help you, especially with Breakout or Flip Flop. And that Saboteur rework is BEYOND broken, its already bad enough that the speed penalty is getting removed.

Nah not get out of jail free but when the hooks are 2 feet apart its pretty useless imo :/ and yeah the sabo thing it's probably broken but so is the hillbilly and self care and that doesnt stop em :(
