Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Is Dbd on cell phone really nesecary?

I'm just curious if there's anyone here that would really play dbd on the phone instead of on the PC or Xbox.

NVIDIA g force now already allows you to do this if you have good enough connection.

So I'm not sure what's the point. Is wifi /4g even good enough for it? I'm guessing they are thinking to release it when 5g is out and you'll be able to play better games on phone but why not use g force now or the consoles.

Just curious on anyone's thoughts

It's been out for a few months in some countries. It works fine. It's not necessary, but it's nice for the people that want it.

Let's see... Chinese companies Netease and Gaea invest into BHVR...

It became necessary once they took those investments...

It's free DBD. What more could you ask for?

It's not but it’s easy money for BHVR so why not. The only way i’ll play it is if there is cross progress, if not then i’ll pass.

Why not? The mobile market is huge and it opens up the potential for whole new customer base who may even buy it on another platform.

BHVR have already worked onmobile games so it makes sense to take their biggest hit and port it over

It's real? I thought it was a joke about how crunchy the game is.

DbD mobile wasn't necessary at all. It looks horrible and it was the worst decision BHRV ever did, just another cash crab regarding the "microtransactions". It only exists because kiddies play mobile games nowadays (which is bad enough), for me that has nothing to do with "gaming" but that's just my opinion.

I feel mobile games are killing real gaming. Microtransactions originated from mobile. Console/pc game developers saw how much money they were making and wanted a piece of that action. Now devs look for any excuse to add loot boxes into a game. Hell look at Diablo Immortal. Poor Blizzard, you will be missed. I dont care if its more money, it feels like it's watering down the product.

I got 5 people in my house and not enough PCs/Consoles for everyone. Dbd mobile is perfect for KYF.

    Meh.

    Doesn't bother me.

If you don't see any reason to play it then just don't.
