Could DBD get a experimental Mode to lower the time between updates and try new changes?
I know Overwatch is trying this because of how long it takes to get Sony and Microsoft to update taking about a week. And they said how it takes time to update even the little things like in Dbds case if they wanted to lower something by like a little bit it'd take a week to update for consoles. This would also allow for experimenting balance changes to see if they'd work in the real game instead of putting them on the test realm. (some stuff like new killers and survivors and big changes would still need to go on the test realm but little changes could go on experimental) this also gets most of the fan base testing changes so they know if its good or not. (because we console players don't really get a say on new changes unless we own a PC which i do but i'm speaking for others).

Experimental would be a mode on the live game with changes that youd load up into to test changes. Thats at least what it is on overwatch. Console players don't really get a say on balance changes so adding this allows them to test the changes as well and speak. Because devs like to say "Try it before you speak" but console players can't do that. Plus a experimental mode would allow them to test new changes easier instead of going through the hassel of updating the test realm.

If you're being sarcastic, I'd like to point out that OP plays console, which the PTB is not available on.
