Realistic Springtrap Concept
The FNaF community, from what I have seen, is completely open to the idea of having a character of theirs being able to branch out into a more mature setting, ESPECIALLY Dead by Daylight. I lot of them really want FNaF to take a more mature role, and Scott wants that as well.
I posted this concept teaser (to the subreddit) that I made on the forums, and those who aren't even fans of FNaF really enjoy the concept. I was afraid to at first, because I truly thought the problem was FNaF itself. However, it was really just the community scared of the wrong character being added. Of course, normal animatronics would never work; they wouldn't fit, and they aren't human like or realistic enough. However, with the addition of Realistic Springtrap 'The Attraction', all of that changes.
Springtrap is human-like and utterly terrifying and would work great in the game, and offer many opportunities. The community seems to love this teaser and love the idea of him being added if executed properly from the responses to the previous showing of this fan teaser on the subreddit.
If you want, feel free to list perk and ability suggestions below. If the DBD team is reading this, please take this into heavy consideration.

Who made this artwork?

Thanks, almost forgot to credit!
- I edited the entire teaser itself. The background is actually in-game from FNaF as an ending cutscene. I used mist and various other atmospheric edits that were simply stock images.
- Down to the real credits, the Springtrap render is most likely done by Misterfab1970. I believe he did the model and render, I found it on Deviantart and nowhere else exclusively. This is what I assume because I could not find a concrete answer.
- Essentially, I did the teaser and the only actual crediting thing was the Springtrap model.

I honestly wish I could get help for my recent idea. Like to make a teaser image for my Chapter idea. I've never suggest a fnaf chapter mostly due to the fact people would hate it more than they'd like it, but I would love to see more robotic creatures as killers in horror things, since robots aren't technically something that's often used in the horror franchise.

I initially thought that people would hate it, but it's mainly just that many from the FNaF suggested the wrong type of character. I posted this on the official Dead by Daylight subreddit community, and people REALLY like it who aren't even fans of FNaF.
I think it seems like it would never be taken, or there would be an imbalance, but with FNaF taking a more mature path with its games (i.e. the establishment of a violent cult, a huge 2020 game in Unreal Engine 4, etc.) I think that people are starting to accept it more... even in this community.
I think that people were scared that it wouldn't be executed well, but when they see something like this, how it SHOULD be, they really like it!

Where was that posted? Reddit?

I think this sums of the majority of the community's reaction.
There was FNaF hate, simply because there was an influx of just horrible ideas (as I can say as a fan of FNaF and DBD) where people categorized all FNaF as FNaF as a result. Now, it seems to have died down as seen with the reactions to that post.

oh my god, a fnaf concept without hate for once! a miracle!
jokes aside, this is a really cool concept with well made perks and a nice power to tie it all together. Great job!

I still don't like the idea of a Five Nights at Freddy's chapter in Dead by Daylight, but I have to say this would be an interesting enough killer.
Love the perks though, those are great! I especially love Death's Design.

Here is the link bro I support dbd springtrap, and you support me if we want to add dbd springtrap to the game, maybe they will see it, tell your friends :)! https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/175390/im-curious-to-see-how-many-people-will-vote-for-the-introduction-of-the-springtrap-maniac/p1

Not really a fan of the power. I don't think most people would find getting stunned in place "fun". Also, the addons could use some work. I find that the most fun addons are the one's that change the playstyle of the killer not just boring stat boosts. A good example would be Myers' mirror addons.

cool perk idea but the power doesnt catch me tbh,it sounds a bit boring to play this killer. but hey, the devs made the blights power happen in the game, which is literally running with extra steps, so ...

I gotta give you credit for your creativity and effort, well done!
Still I hope FNAF won´t ever set foot into the entitys realm, sorry.

This is a great first concept, I can tell you've put a lot of thought into the balancing of the perks, unlike a certain group of people lmao. There are however some changes I'd make to it to improve it, the killer's ability needs to be changed - I'd say reducing how much the it slows a survivor down to simply walking speed (and maybe also give them a skill check or something), in addition adding in Spring Trap's signature jump scare sound as well as maybe adding in a jump scare of the Phantom animatronics to really sell the FNaF setting and pay fan service. IMO these are good changes that make the ability a lot more interesting and making the ability for survivors to think on their feet more difficult. As for perk changes I think a good first change would to make "Mechanical Instinct" based on the killer's terror radius rather than simply a 16 metre terror radius, that way you could have some interesting combinations with other perks such as "Hex: Ruin" and "Monitor And Abuse". Lastly, "Hex: Death's Design" needs to give a greater bloodpoint buff and to have a buff for tier 3 - I think going 50% for Tier 1, 65% for Tier 2 and 80% for Tier 3. It felt just a little underwhelming so I think this would be a welcome change. That concludes the changes I'd make to the concept as a whole, the only criticism I have left to share is I think when making stuff like this you need to proof read it a bit more because at times it's a little wordy and sometimes difficult to fully understand how certain aspects of what's being talked about. That being said however, excellent job and I love the fact that you took the time to make all the graphics and the layout. Keep up the good work!

Probably not as good as springtrap but ennard would be cool cause he has a motive to kill and his memento mori would be epic as well
