Skill Check Difficulty/Generator Progression
Maybe this is a stupid idea, but has anyone thought about making skill checks more difficult specifically just for higher ranks? That way new players aren't affected. I thought it might make for increased difficulty for better-skilled players on an already existing gameplay element which = Less work woo!
20 - 15
As is - no changes.
15 - 10
Make the skill checks 5-10% quicker.
10 - 5
Keep the previous adjustment(s) and maybe you make the zones smaller by x amount.
5 - 2
Keep all the previous ones and also maybe add an option to make the skill check zones separated. Or maybe you have to hold down your button for a second during a certain area (But avoid it from becoming ddr).

Keep all the previous ones but also maybe you could also play with things that have to do with the generators progression. So, maybe as it's getting closer to being finished like 50% onward, you can have some added element to make it more difficult. Maybe not directly related but indirectly because maybe you make the killer more aware that a generator is being close to finished. Maybe the lights get brighter or flash or make repairing the generator maybe 10% louder or the generator itself just louder.
You get the idea. I'm sure there's plenty of things you can add and mess around with. My ideas are probably terrible, but maybe it'll open up discussion and possibilities on new ideas.
