I am rank 1 killer and survivor, but playing killer is more stressful than playing as a survivor. how a survivor it is very easy to escape and it is boring because the killers suffer from genrush and prefer not to play anymore every day is more difficult play or find a red rank killer for example the bad matchmaking red ranks of survivors against green or yellow ranges of killers the game is broken survivors had a lot of advantages i believe all it happened since the ruin was fixed before it was funny try to find the ruin and break it always the killers tryed to defend it but nowadays a lot of genrush it's a waste of time break totems etc. or you What do you think about it because I am sure that there are less red rank killers and bad matchmaking?

You do realize they HAVE to gen rush to make it out right? You do realize there are Moris that rob people of their 3rd hook right? You do realize Survivors need to have a realistic chance of escaping after cooperating like their supposed to right? You do realize that one person that gets tunneled or camped doesn’t get that many points at the end of a match right? It’s not meant to be stressful as a killer just because you don’t get all 4. you’re not going to die. It’s so easy to accrue massive amounts of points as killer as long as you’re interacting with survivors. Are you telling me you aren’t even finding people? Or ######### is the problem?

The run on sentence that is that post is rough to get through, but I think I've managed to decipher it...

The changes to Hex: Ruin did not kill the game. Are there less Red Rank killers because of it? Possibly. Only the game devs have those stats. In truth there are SEVERAL reasons for why there could be less red rank killers(Again, no evidence is out there support that assumption). Ruin in all likelihood is not at the top of that list.

I won't, and honestly can't list every possible reason. But thinking that Hex: Ruin was literally the only thing holding DbD together is just ridiculous. Yes, some killers could have quit because of the change, but that doesn't kill DbD. Bad match making could cause some killers to quit, but it also affects survivors, so that is also only circumstantial.

DbD is not dead. The vocal minority will continue to complain, and bemoan everything the devs do. When something they don't like gets fixed, then someone else will step up and find something to complain about. If tomorrow Match making was perfect, and Ruin was restored to it's former status, you might step down, but someone else will come up in your place and say that survivors being able to crouch is OP, and getting rid of that will also stop teabagging, so it should be removed.

Making theoretical statements based on feelings, as if they were empirical statements, does zero good to helping the game.

Bs people are still complaining about killer being at a disadvantage. I’ve seen some swift deaths in these higher ranks Going against some of these killers. So you’re doing something wrong then. If anything killers need a nerf. I don’t believe survivors need a buff. But some of these guys are simply too fast when there’s dead ends and lack of pallets around that don’t do anything because killers can just walk around them with ease. 😂 you know what I’m not even gonna argue with this topic anymore. You clearly don’t realize that killers are given quite a few abilities that give them the advantage as well. Tbh i don’t mind dying, but seeing so little points after getting tunneled hard and camped on is unacceptable. I waited how long to play a game? And that’s it? Simply because I am not allowed to play the game sitting on a hook the first time around just to be forgotten about or unhooked right next to the killer because they can sit and watch me like ghost face does sitting in a Bush with undetectable on? It’s deflating man. I mean, don’t beat yourself up if you’re having trouble killing everyone. Nobody wants to be at a disadvantage playing survivor with 3 other guys either. I sure in the hell don’t wanna die because gens don’t get rushed or whatever. So you’re saying they should take longer so the solo gen worker doesn’t ever get his gen done? The killer can be really swift at hooking his victim and moving on that there’s not really any time to sit there and fix a generator for an hour by yourself. It’s based on teamwork and you’re telling me you’re gonna complain about that? Pathetic.

Maybe play against a killer that is not casual and actually plays for kills not for bp?

It is certainly not a waste of time to break totems. I now see NOED in the spot that Hex Ruin was and many people think that way now. Let's not waste time on totems and it bites them in the butt. lol

Thanks for your comments I just want to know what the community think. But If you talk about statistics, the ruin was the most used perk by the killers in 60 percent of the games and what do you think if most players use a perk, the best decision was to remove it? For me that is a mistake, if my client buys a product more than the other one I try to work on those who do not buy and leave as they are those who do buy.

Making your title a statement, and not a question based on your feelings, is not asking what the community thinks. But so as not to detract into a debate about the way you posed your query, I'll leave it at that. The answer to that question can easily be found by looking at these forums, what people said when the change was first announced, then tested, and then implemented into the game.

Your anecdote about your clients, and products doesn't correlate 1:1 for the way to run an online video game that will always require updates and tweaking. Devs said that the change was needed, because it was used so often, making it feel as if it was a requirement to play killer. Paraphrasing of course. It needed to be changed because lower rank survivors, and those new to the game, were being punished for not being able to hit great skill check, while survivors are higher ranks, and had more time and experience could hit the great skill checks much more easily, making it's use at red ranks, despite how commonly it was use, nearly useless, as it didn't slow down the game. Not to mention that those experienced survivors could find the totem far more easily than newer/less experienced survivors.

That was what I recall being the reasoning behind the change. I tend to agree with it. Other do as well. Folks like yourself disagree, or would say that a change was needed but not the one given, etc etc. It's a case of you'll never please everyone all of the time.

Most of these complaints seem to be about Hex: Ruin.

It all boils down to how a singular perk change makes the entite game bad.

The new meta is Pop Goes The Weasle in every killer perk build and it works out well. It screws me over every time I play survivor.

Maybe I should make a complaint about how the perk works and it does good things for the killer and bad things for the survivor, and- Nah....

As a person who bought the game to play killer I have to say gen rush is a BS term. Survivors do gens and take down totems when they seem them. It's their entire objective. If they don't have a reason to look for totems the gens will go faster. Sometimes the rng and the direction you choose to go first can screw you but that's just how rng works. Gotta get the right perks to compensate for your weaknesses combined with the killers shortcomings to keep pressure. The most unfortunate part of the game is how it's always changing and so random in places so you can't really settle into a routine for very long. It's very much adapt or suffer.
