The Australian rebellion for taking away ping.
Join me. we shall invade the server being forced upon us and sandbag/kill everyone in sight until were returned to our land. Our land was peaceful and thriving until the devs attacked. 200+ ping to the east and 150+ ping to the west. With our combined might we will strike a discussion to happen and make the people of this foreign server complain and join our quest as well. Spread the attack plan my brothers.
EDIT pc and potentially ps4 has the local servers but they neglected xbox and have said nothing about the issue so far. No plans and it’s probably not a bug that we have.

I'm in Australia, I get a 64ms ping which is perfectly fine.

Can’t get a game below 190ms in QLD, it’s been awful. Played two games and then I had to stop. I’d rather deal with the occasional lag switcher than play on these servers.

I can only assume there’s a problem now. Because some are reporting low ping. This needs a dev explanation. If it was a Sydney server I would have 50- ping and my friend should have around 80. But were 200. Are you on pc perhaps? Maybe Xbox or ps4 as well are going through a crisis that pc doesn’t have?

Yes, I'm on PC. 200 is unplayable, you must be getting routed to the wrong server with numbers like that.

I'm on Xbox in Adelaide and am getting nearly 180 ping since they turned on the dedictaed servers. It's unplayable. I've heard there's only dedicated servers in Aus for PC, can anyone confirm that?

I'm pretty sure our server is in Singapore, Adelaide to Sydney would be 20ms. Console players must be getting routed to NA to get such bad pings.

I've played plenty of other games with dedicated servers in Sydney and never gotten this high a ping. It should only add 30ms MAX. Plus other people including some in Sydney, are reporting roughly the same if not worse ping.

@Peanits where are Sydney servers for console AU? The lack of communication is atrocious. If this was the other way around routing American players to Australia, there would be instant replies and chaos most likely. This seems like bias bs.

Thanks for the further input. So it’s narrowed down to a Xbox problem now. Unless other ps4 comments conflict with that statement, but don’t remember any currently. I have multiple posts in other categories.
So this means it’s either a bug that’s gonna get fixed, or Xbox they didn’t care about and saved their money. Second option I lean towards with the fact they haven’t said anything yet still and i dont know if ps4 and pc went through the same release bs

I, No joke, got 1000 ping in a game here once. This isn't even funny anymore...
(I am in Queensland on Xbox. This was after the reverted dedicated server fiasco. I believe that I had reached someone in America or something...)

People just lag switch or lag the bloodweb to detour you in lobby. Not at all a problem. I never get those games in Queensland as well. Wonder if I have seen you playing before?
