I've saved up 13,000 shards so should I buy him or another killer because I could get him, oni, or spirit but idk which one I should buy.

if you want the "best" get Spirit

Oni and Deathslinger are much weaker

You can gather more shards by playing the game, no need to have all of them once.

Deathslinger looks fun (I haven't been able to try him in PTB cause everyone was playing him in the first few days), so all I can say is that I will buy him.

Spirit is a strong killer and also has good perks.

Oni... He's just not my type of killer, I only played him twice. But he can be a tough opponent.

Never buy ######### with cash if you can help it. But since you're using iri shards, then I'd say its probably nice to buy them.

If you're having doubts, just hold off until the next chapter is out see if the killer is still good by then or if they do anythign for them. Behavior has a terrible track record of nerfing killers on release for no apparent reason, like in Plague and Oni cases. Or they'll have killers with weird bugs or annoying interactions that take forever to get them fixed, Ghostface's is bad for both sides because the latency makes the interactions so random not to mention crazy with how the models work. Then there's like 2/3rds of the killers that don't see any updates for like 18 months if they're bad or the good ones get nerfed to the ground .

I started doing that and I've been happier with how I've invested on the killers.

They might change the Deathslinger but from what i see the current one is a high skill cap low return killer. He is really fun to play but thats only if you can play him effectively. If you have Huntress i would recommend playing her and see if you like it if not move onto someone else.
