Goodness no, releasing on A Friday would be terrible because they’re off the weekend if anything bugs... it will

What's keeping it from release? Was he too weak or too powerful so they're shifting and changing some things?

Too many bugs? Maybe something with the tiny hitbox that makes Latency even More noticable??

None of the above. It was always planned to be released later than normal.

Wait, wasn't it confirmed for the 10th yesterday or day before yesterday? What happened to that anouncement?

Gosh it's gonna be horribly hilarious watching people struggling, needing help when hooked by this no good yellow -belly son of a gun partner.

Ill get banned for this comment but so be it. I find it increasingly frustrating that every single game developer in existence other than y'all can give their fans a set in stone release date for updates, dlc, ect...it's not fair that when people ask y'all a simple question like a date for a dlc release you can't even give them that. If you can't fix the game for us then the least y'all can do is give people a release date. Its absurd in this day in technology and in gaming that this practice of deflecting the fans is an acceptable thing for y'all to do.

And then when something comes up like it did for Halloween and literally breaks the game, what do they do? They promised the fans it'd be March 10th, but the game is quite literally unplayable. You saw the backlash from then, imagine that now after ruin, the devs might actually be witch hunted. Instead they have it remain anonymous so as to avoid these situations.

At the end of the day, companies and developers are there to make money. You, the consumer, give your money.

    Companies are not your friend.

Grow up and stop being entitled.

Says we're the one paying the companies and then says the companies don't owe us in the same post. That wasn't well thought through.

The companies owe you what you paid for, the game of Dead by Daylight. The DLC of Dead by Daylight. Any other Information they give about this dlc or this game is not what you paid for, and therefore are not entitled to. Is it nice to have? Yes. If you don't like how a developer or companies handles this, don't support them. That's how capitalism works, you talk with your money.

Take pokemon sword and shield for example. They were the most controversial pokemon games ever. They are the fastest selling pokemon games ever. Consumers speak with their wallet.

I purchased this game on release. What I paid for is significantly different than the current game. If I could predict they would add premade survivor groups with voice communication into the game that provides an overwhelming advantage for one side without any downfall yet for some reason simultaneously refuse to allow kyf premades the same luxury of character progress that they do swf premades even though there's no definite victim in kyf, then I would have never bought this game. I don't have what I paid for. A lot of people don't have what they paid for. Tell them to start handing out refunds if you're so strongly attached to that particular belief. There's all the validation in the world to complain about a game company refusing to do what's expected of a game company. If you want to go the straight line path of you only get what you paid for, then explain why I can't get a refund now that I don't have what I paid for.

They never said they won't add swf. They said they will be adding swf not long after the game was released. You probably had better chances of getting the refund back then. You won't get one now. Why are you even playing the game or are here now complaining? Swf will never be removed and only a not smart person would think it would.

Anyway , you did get what you has paid for. Your bs could be more than just whining if the devs had actually said "we won't be adding premade teams to the game" when the game was released.

And how sad is it want a refund 3 years later... It's only 20$. You probably played the game enough to get the money's worth. Just quit if the game is not what you "paid for". You clearly don't enjoy it.

They actually did say they knew it would be a horrible idea to have voice communication be part of the game and they didn't want that. Of course you have your head so far up your self righteous backside to know why dev steam #6 is mysteriously missing.

By the way, if you buy a piece of clothing and it turns out that it dissolves in water unlike the vast majority of clothing, do you just say "oh well, I got my money's worth" the first time it rains and your clothes get destroyed, or do you show disappointment that the clothing manufacturer clearly doesn't keep up to standards?

You don't seem to understand the distinction between your right to give criticism and your right to have that criticism adopted by the developers. The former exists, the latter does not.

You got what you paid for because what you paid for is whatever the developers are willing to give you. You agreed to a contract that states that very plainly, and you agreed to it before you even started playing the game. You knew the risks, and you could have asked for a refund then if you weren't willing to accept the terms of the EULA. If you're not willing to accept them now, after almost four years of playing the game, you can always stop playing.

IMPORTANT: BHVR MAY FIND IT NECESSARY TO MAKE UPDATES, OR RESET CERTAIN PARAMETERS TO BALANCE GAME PLAY AND USAGE OF THE GAME AND BHVR SERVICES. THESE UPDATES OR “RESETS” MAY CAUSE YOU SETBACKS WITHIN THE GAME AND MAY AFFECT CHARACTERS, GAMES, GROUPS OR OTHER ENTITLEMENTS UNDER YOUR CONTROL, AND YOU MAY LOSE ACCESS TO ANY VIRTUAL GOODS YOU MAY HAVE “EARNED” OR “PURCHASED”. BHVR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MAKE THESE UPDATES AND IS NOT LIABLE TO YOU FOR THESE CHANGES.

But this is getting really off-topic, so I'll leave it there. If you want to discuss it further, it might be a good idea to make a separate thread.

They told us like a day or two before "normal" release that it would be delayed because they wanted to add an extra week.

Bhvr never technically promises to release stuff on a certain day, so when there's inevitably some bug or other issue (which happens pretty frequently), they can do this.

Whether or not it will fix anything is up for debate, but it's looking like March 10, unless unforseen circumstances happen. I wouldn't get your hopes up about the Deathslinger not being a bad killer, though.
