Uncounterable Doc face camping

I expect devs to put a delay on Doc's shock therapy, otherwise they just zap a survivor on the hook and there's no way anyone can save them

Edit: I was the killer!

Face camp counter = do gens, lol.

If you, as a survivor, are camping the hook, you have already failed. You might as well just stand still and let the killer kill you. If you are camping the hook, then the killer is not, as he is actively hunting you. Big brain plays require big brain moves, so LEAVE THE HOOK! Do gens! Do totems! Just the hell away from the hook, and stop killing your teammates buy camping hooks as a survivor.

Doesn't change the fact that the counter to that play is to do Gens.

A struggling person on first hook will take 2mins to die, a single Survivor completes a Gen in 1:20mins, two Survivors need 44s IIRC, you do the math.

Camping is a terrible strategy, in order to ruin the match for a single Survivor you are probably going to ruin it for yourself too as you will be a lot behind if they know what they are doing.

Don't even get me started on what would happen if the hooked guy had Kindred.

Putting cooldowns on every Killer ability and/or Perk in general will not improve this game.

I was just messing around with the doc and notice that would be extremely exploitable so I post it here to notice the devs OK? Don't be that narrow-minded. Honestly what's wrong with this DBD community, everyone's on edge for no reason.

Who cares if someone else's fun is ruined and they can't play because of a camping killer? Just do gens! Screw them

Sounds like an already existing problem in the game with Leatherface. If you want to fix this issue, which seems perfectly reasonable to me as it’s just plain stupid, then fix it by making a change that affects all killers without hurting these killers power. Giving the zap a delay would really hurt Doc.

People around here seem to think “Do gens” is the answer to facecamp Bubba and Doctor. It’s more of a pseudo-counter, since that means you HAVE to let a teammate die. I’m a believer that each strategy should have a counter.

    That includes Borrowed and DS.

Borrowed = Go for the unhooker or wait 15 seconds.

DS = Slug. Keep track of which survivors have recently been unhooked. Don’t get baited into grabbing them (lockers, off totems, etc.)

Do those things and the perks will NEVER affect you.

Facecamp Bubba/Doc can NOT be countered no matter what (granted if they don’t make a mistake). Doc can keep shocking to prevent unhooks; Bubba can rev his chainsaw indefinitely and mow down anyone that gets too close. I definitely think these killers need a tweak to prevent that.

Billy can do this to some degree but at least he needs to repeatedly press a button to rev his chainsaw, unlike Bubba.

Ok, the action cooldown is 2,5s for survivor.

Shock therapy charge time is 1s + 1s delay + 1,5s cooldown, if shock is successful.

It mean that 2,5s survivors cooldown - 1,5s killers cooldown - 1s shock charge time - 1s delay = survivor has 1s to unhook.

The question is how long an unhook can take?

The answer is - the fastest unhook speed is 0,15s. (ez)

There are two answers to this:

    1. Do gens
    2. Sneak to the hook and save the Survivor while his shock is on cooldown.

You need 2 people to get someone off the hook against a facecamping Doctor, it's super easy: one person is behind or out of range of the shock therapy while the other one is the bait. If you do it right he can't shock both of you and it's an easy unhook.
