I am really curious what you think. You can write a more detailed opinion on who's design is the best, which one's the prettiest, etc.

Nea; I like her dress sense and her lore.
Yui and Nancy are cool too (Yui's outfits are pretty meh IMO, but she's enough of a clever and capable badass in her lore that I can look past it, and Nancy is Nancy so she's cool), but Nea is best.

Wish I could pick 2. It's a tie between Kate and Yui for me. Most of their outfits look amazing on them as well, compared to the other survivors who have maybe one or 2 outfits that make them look good and the rest make them look like someone with terrible fashion sense put together their outfits.

When it comes to characters I like to look at them primarily by their archetype, their characteristics and traits, who they represent. Considering just the female characters:
Meg - The Athlete
Claudette - The Nerd
Nea - The Rebel
Laurie Strode - The Final Girl
Feng Min - The Gamer
Kate Denson - The Free Spirit
Jane Romero - The Celebrity
Nancy Wheeler - Amateur Investigative Reporter
Yui - The Streetracer (not super clear cut an archetype, but I suppose your character who is super into cars, motorcycles, and other vehicles..)
Zarina - The Documentarian (also not as clear cut an archetype, but I haven't read her lore yet)
Out of all of them I've always liked Kate's archetype the best, I guess because she's a representation of the exact opposite of the dark, grim, gritty reality of their situation. Her role in the game is quite literally "The Hopeful Songbird" and I love how she's described:
"A ray of sunshine illuminated this cold and gray place ... [but] to remain so positive and upbeat in such a place would require a will of iron. Out of all the characters, I've always connected with Min the best. Yeah, Adam may have slightly overtaken her as my favorite Survivor, but she's still way up there.
Doesn't hurt that can actually say her name correctly (all of you calling her Feng, yeah, I'm looking at you!)

Benedict Baker's passage on Kate is easily the most badass character description I've ever read. Also lore wise her perks are really cool, they express her sunshine side and her lightning side.

My personal vote is for Yui as she was the first character I really used because I bought that dlc first. I personally don't like many of the female character models in the game. I especially hate Laurie's hair, it is... not great.

I think for me personally Claudette has the most amount of cute outfits. Feng also has a fair amount of cute outfits. Others only have a few good outfits, like Kate (love her biker outfit), Zarina, and Jane. I feel Claudette has some of the best cosmetics and she also has a lot to choose from.

Kate Denson, because she seems like the ultimate Entity challenge. She's depicted as full of hope and grit, and even the song is thought to be from her (albeit under Entity influence).
Basically, she has the most The Entity can feed on, yet at the same time she's the one most determined and likely to last longest and escape.
An honorable second would go to Cheryl, as she actually already has some control over The Entity, and having survived beating a "God" in Silent Hill, I wouldn't be surprised if she became stronger and more of a match, especially if she met someone like the observer.
