Killers helping survivors???

So we were playing against Michael Myers and it was down to me and another survivor, when a strange thing happened. Dark Sense was active, so I could see the other survivors get hooked and slugged and wondered why they were so cluttered around, but then I saw why. I get hooked and Myers and the survivor stare at each other. I'm thinking he's going to chase them, but nope, he allowed them to go open the exit gate and escape while he's abusing me on the hook. Obviously they were working together while I took punishment. Very unsportsmanlike behavior. Sorry for the long post, has anyone here ever come across something like that?

yeah that’s happened to me before, it sucks when it happens but ayy what can ya do. it hasn’t happened to me in awhile but when it does I just move on because reporting doesn’t really do anything and talking to them will just make them more immature.

I only do that if a survivor sandbaggs, atleast 2 or more dcs/suicides or a really bad survivor that farmed or killed the entire team otherwise. I feel bad then, its not something the others wanted that to happen. But I only do thatt at the start of the day when I started playing, when it is getting late I start to get more stressed because of dbd or when I am tired. If I am tired or stressed then I most likely just kill all.

Yeah. Since there is such a small group of people you go against in Oceana on Xbox, you get to know who does it. There are 2 people I know who only play games where they can work with the killer. As a killer player, I just kill them quickly and let the others farm because its just mean.

When I was doing my flashlight challenges though, I worked with the killer to get them done, and then let them get their challenge done because that's a real deal that is fair. Its just between two people, and it doesn't affect others as much, especially negatively...

Happened to me with a pig and Feng before. The pig let the Feng escape while I got chased and sacrificed.

    Man, it's happen a lot.

Sometimes the killers kills 3 survivors, and farm with the last one; sometimes they just farm with everyone; and sometimes survivors help the killer to find the others.

It's really boring, but unfortunately it's becoming "normal", find matches where it's happens.

    Favoritism.

Also irrational hatred for certain survivors.

Won the heart of a Ghostface somehow yesterday and got the hatch. It happens.

Hmmm, so maybe if I use Kate or Jane, I could be granted a hatch or two, haha

I dunno. I really hate Kates. And Jane... JANE. All Janes will suffer.

Killers let the last survivor go and people are complaining? I thought that was always considered a good sport thing?

All killers do certain things. I get let go by most GhostFace and Myers due to my name while I let Claudettes (Not Blendettes) go because she's the cutest girl. It's the death for the rest of you ugly hoes.

He was the last survivior, right?

What else couod he do? He was at the mercy of the killer, so if killer spared him, he has no right to complain really. One wrong move and killer will murder him.

Sometimes you just gotta be a good sport as killer. I had a killer game where a David bodyblocked for a Feng I was chasing. She then dropped a pallet on her boy. I downed him, but then just shook my head and kept after the Feng, hooking her and letting the sandbagged King get saved.

I also almost always let the last survivor go. Unless they were toxic.

I also occasionally let the killer sac me at the end if they had a ######### game.

And every once in a while a match is so unbalanced or silly, that letting everyone farm points is just nice.

I’ve experienced the same thing 2 games in a row with different trappers, I’ve very recently been playing the game during my free time in between classes and work, and I’m trying to prestige my first character, and I’m messaged by the killer asking if I’ll “accidentally” step into his traps, he’ll let me get off the trap and proceed doing gens, I said yes because I needed blood points and he needed to do a rift challenge so it’s a win win, and I agreed, and he said he’ll let the whole survivor team live, so I guess he was in touch with the others as well, cos I saw the others doing the same thing as well, the next game was almost entirely similar, with the exception of I wasn’t messaged at all, it was just silently agreed to.

I use Jane and let me tell you: injured survivor runs anywhere near you and the killer spots you they will switch to you even though you are healthy.

I see it in playthroughs that Jane is picked on quite a bit. Killers like chasing booty?

The only time I help the survivors as a killer, is when i start to get extremely laggy. Like one moment I'm chasing and hooking survivors, next I'm feeling lag. So once it gets really bad, I let the ones who are still alive go. It's better then getting angry messages if I continued the chase. Well, lag is a reason I let them go but also if I need to finish a daily that requires just hitting them a couple times.

For example, if there are two people left and one person is on death hook and the other guy I've never see, I go look for the other guy, I can't stand stealthy players. I've also given players the escape if they give me an item. I've also give the escape to a player I found more enjoyable to play.

In none of these cases have I hit someone at the hook, but there are lots of reason why a killer might let one survivor escape over another.

I'm just not a fan of blondes, or girls that dress like her. To each their own though.

Now that's pretty neat! And mouse, I appreciate all the killers that play your style and the ones that show a little mercy. I'm horrible at killer, but am a fair, decent survivor that play the right way and doesn't bully. Sometimes I win, sometimes I get got, but I'm ok as long as it's a fair game.

Had this happen to me with a Jake and a GF on Badham. Kept downing me. Jake would run in and heal me. Every time I try to run the GF would expose and down me again. One of the worst 7 minutes of my life. Reported them both of course and I'm sure there was no action or reprocution that took place cause hey this is DBD where the survivors get away with anything and Devs don't pay attention to anything.

This is one reason I dont give hatches anymore. It's really unfair to the other survivors.

I usually give the last survivor a chance to find it but I wont give it to them for free.

Letting the last survivor go is"unsportsmanlike behavior"? What?

Working together? How do you know if all you saw was the killer letting them open a gate and escape? That's not "working together".

Stop being salty about it and move on. Maybe you will be the one the killer lets go someday.

I just made a post about working with the killer/farming the other day. The two of us that didn't go along with it got killed. They led the killer to us making gestures. Hook farmed. They even blocked us during the last chase so we couldn't run away. Then he let them run around and do every objective possible and escape. I didn't know at first because I was chased normally. That's a way different scenario though. That's a reportable offense.

It's very common now to let the last survivor escape. I see it all the time. Not sure why. I've done it myself. If someone is being not so nice,I usually just want to kill them. Or when they are ten ranks above me,I want SOME kind of kill. And sometimes you just know when you are beat, and don't want to walk over and get teabagged. I guess there's plenty of reasons. Unless they are working with the killer to the detriment of the other survivors, like my example, there's not much that can be done. I guarantee you'll see it again.

Do you have messages blocked so people not on your friends can't message you?? Jw because I've had many Killers do this to me and I message them after the match and they said "I tried messaging you before game, if I can't reach survivors I do not let them farm and I kill them" That's when I was like uhhh okay, didn't know that was a thing bud.. But then another Killer said the same thing ffs.. Bad luck man lol

I am a killer main, Never played survivor. one survivor at 13 my freind plays.

I will 90% of the time chase people down and hit them and bring them to a chest or pallet and let them go. I know the survivors get little to nothing so if they follow me I will bring them to hooks and let everyone share, healing share, I show them totems and let them hit me with pallets, blind me, heal at the open gate and pull up the entity that blocks the killer.

I literally play this for how hilarous and fun it is to be able to predict people. It is almost impossible to get away from me once I see you. I just enjoy the chase and helping people get their achievments. So yeah, I never played survivor so I wouldn't know how many killers do it.

On that note, what is the quickest way a killer could help survivors get more BP in a LONG match where they all live?

Good luck and if you cross me just run up to me and stare and I will help.. Does getting hit hurt your points?

I tend to do that when I have a good game as a killer and I sacrifice first three survivors fairly quickly. Doesn't mean I play with either of the survivors, just fun thing to do for me. Especially when it's a nice lobby of survivors who don't t bag on every possible occasion.

Yeah. I turned on a survivor once for tbaging a dude who wouldn't let me damage the generator after I hit them and accidentely downed em. I feel bad sacrificing people.. And I only team wipe with Pyramid Head because.. Well, He is Pyramid Head.
