I know it's not a major achievement but...

I wanted to say thanks to a lot of the guys here on the forums for getting me back into the game. I used to play on PS4 at launch, then PC for awhile. I quit for a super long time. Over a year. I kept seeing forum posts in my Google notifications, and something sparked in me. Started playing on PS4 again.

I know the matchmaking is nuts, and there's a lot of issues. But I fell in love with the game again, and really enjoy talking to some of the people in the community. I wanted to improve. A lot of people are helpful and kind to new players, even if they complain or ask obvious questions.

I try to look at the positives. The game isn't dead, like the majority of other similar games. There are still some good people that play it. We still get new content. The devs at least try to listen and engage. I know there's a lot of issues, and I hope they get sorted out.

Anyways I was able to hit P2 with my Claudette and rise 40 something player levels in month. So,I got enough shards to get a character as well. I also hit purple for the first time ever! I know it's not much but I feel like I've improved. Its not easy since I'm disabled. Some people here taught me a lot. Videos or just explainations. Just wanted to share and say thanks to the community.

Look. Hitting Purple is not easy, since at Green you get people who've stopped playing for a while, and know the game or those who've been rewarded a bit too much for tunnelling and camping.

I've also gone for P3 on Yui and that took forever. I'm there now, but I have to finish getting my good perks to level 3. Again. It takes a lot of commitment to a single character to do.

Don't sell yourself short with something like this. You're now basically in the top level of the game and will start competing with red ranks. Messed up matchmaking or disability aside, it's still impressive.

Now you're up here, your next challenge is to keep that rank. You'll start facing killers that have hardly been used in the lower ranks. Adapt, overcome, survive.

Thank you for that. I also got demolished in the rank rest. Think I went from 11 to 19. So it was a decent crawl back. Also managed to get my killer to green this last reset. I had to switch mains though (from Huntress to Doctor). With matchmaking the way it is,I feel like that was more of feat. I was facing red survivors at low rank. Sometimes they can be killed, sometimes they outplay me to a ridiculous degree.

I definitely feel like the experience made me improve in both roles though. Just when I thought I hit my limit for getting gud or being bullied,I'd learn some new trick from a video or comment. Haven't faced any of the higher rank killers yet,so I'll have to see how it goes. I appreciate the input for sure.
