Alternate Game Mode Ideas
Does anyone have any ideas for alternate gamemodes? I've already posted my idea for an alternate gamemode (https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/16878/alternate-game-mode-idea#latest).
From my position there really isn't much you can do with the 4v1, the only thing that I've found to probably work is a hide and seek type of gamemode.
Anyone else have any ideas? Dead by Daylight needs more variety.

We have 13 killers and 14 survivors.
At the moment we dont have variety because all survivors are only skins (horrible design tbh) and because most killers are simply unviable. The devs say not every killer has to be viable against good survivors, so people obviously dont use the weaker killers. We are all thrown into competitive matchmaking and even SWF is a thing, so if you dont wanna have a bad time being bullied.....1 -
For example, there is a map like a wide long road with full of pallets and windows.
The map separated for some areas, in which survivors have to take up some positions to unlock next area.The killer have to hit survivor twice to make him dead. Other survivors can help with the buffs, for example, from clearing the totems. It could be a variety of buffs, shields, haste, heal, illusion or smth like that.
The killer instead has a power of the Entity. The pallet's stun is much longer, but it would be destroyed after succesful stun. Also, killers can choice the offering of maps with hills or no totems match, or less pallets on the map, or no perks survivors, or no fast vault windows, or smth.Hidings are not appreciated. Players behind would be punished, so other players can reach their destination point. The Entity can eat the world, so the survivors will die in the darkness. Or it could be a simple dark and light.

That's sounds badass but why not truly mess.with higher rank player and include a killer vs killer mode in which there Are 2 killers competing for kills or create a gauntlet moade 13 survivors 12 killers one per person and the goal is the same escape but theres 17 gens and no hatch and the final area has 13 things to do but there is a timer which at the end the timer the killers spawn along with Moris and even with one survivor left the entity itself walk's into the zone meaning you have to find the hatch while the entity itself hunts you (the hatch can only be in the last area which is a Hodge podge of all the other maps) if you don't survive maby a huge end game movie of the killers and the entity walking out the gates to the real world where as the hatch drops you into the real world but covers in blood surrounded by the dead survivors and your eyes glow red as you become the entity's host (I mean that be a true mind #########) but if you making through the last gate (even if its just 2 of you) everyone escapes back to the real world but so do the killers but there free from it and can finally die for some while others can defend the survivors who freed them from the true killers)0

Or if that's to complicated just a single player mode showing how each killers backstory and how the survivors ended up and there first hunt and meeting at the campfire0

The entity eating the world gave me the impression of it being a type of Temple Run game mode. I think that would be a really good idea, I just don't know how it will fit in with the lore.

Capture the flag:
8 survivors ans 2 killers
Each team has 4 survivors and a killer.
The survivors have to get the opposite teams flag but have to have more people present.
If 2 people are within 8m of the flag, you need 3 to take the flag. The killer can hook survivors on the opposite team. They will remain at perminant first phase no mater how manh times they are hooked. They can be unhooked by their own team.
The 2 killers cannot injure each other.
No toolboxes or keys.
Friendly fire for injuring your own team is off and blinding your own killer is off to reduce trolls.
Perks that affect objective speed now affect capture speed
Freeze Tag:
2 killers , 6 survivors
Killers hit survivors to put them a frozen state. Other survivors can unfreeze them like the wake up action. Survivors need to unfreeze each other
The game is over when all survivors are frozen ir when all survivirs have been unfrozen for a total of 2min each (does not have to be connected)0 -
