If you run a killer for four full gens you should guaranteed 1 pip
If anyone plays that well it should be physically impossible to depip at the very least but no. Why!?!

Because instead of doing objectives or altruism or "surviving", all you did was give chase and fulfilled one category.

Because you did nothing else but be in a chase...? You didn't do any objectives, unhooks, or anything else.

No one is going to pip in that scenario very often. You, your teammates, or the killer.

Well look at the bright side ... since you ran a killer for four gens there's likely not to be much altruism so nobody will pip.
I know if I run a killer for 2-3 gens I consider taking a dive...cause I don't want to be the last one he chases when all the gens pop and I want a shot at doing something else that will make me pip.

I think the more realistic solution would be to make it impossible to completely outpower the power role unless they're intentionally letting you. The fact that this is possible is kind of a dead giveaway that survivors are too strong.

Its the killers fault for dedicating to one survivor tho

I think you're both right.
Survivors do have a huge advantage most games, but that's just a tad tunnely and it sounds like the other 3 punished the killer for it.
NOW, if ToxicNancy here repaired 4 gens...that's even MORE to the point Dehitay was referencing.

If you can run a killer for 5 gens, you shouldn't pip because it sounds like you should not have been playing against that killer at all to begin with.
That being said I agree you should not DE pip.
Yeah but they did that because they are not very good, if they are not good enough yet to know that, why are they going against people who can run them for 5 gens to begin with?

If you kill all 4 survivors in the first 3 minutes and without a single gen being done, you should be guaranteed 1 pip, but no.

Yes I agree
