Definitely enjoying Deathslinger
Well done BHVR, The Deathslinger is incredibly fun to play. Trying different builds with him to see how to get the most bang for my buck (no pun intended).
So far my biggest complaints seems to be
A. Frame drop while going from shooting to back to hip on Xbox One X
B. My camera sometimes pulls to the sky after reeling in a survivor and hitting them/ if they break free. Dunno if intended or not.
But overall, I am having a blast with him. Definitely a nice counter for the Huntress to me since I suck with her

He's also fun to play against, except for his tiny/weird terrorradius. I really enjoy the design and sound design of this killer a lot.

He' definitly fun to play against. He's just trash to play.

I'm having having a great time playing as him. Like all killers, it's just learning his strength and weaknesses. Hell, i just slaughtered a SWF group who were in red rank while I'm hanging out at rank 6.
I've only gone against him twice today and managed to get away one time though it wasn't easy for sure hahaha

He's a lot of fun to play, a little weak but fortunately most people are still learning how to play against him, so his strength won't matter too much for a while. Hell, I even reached red ranks (for the first time) by just playing him.
Lot of fun, will be interesting to see how he performs when everyone realises how to counter him though.

Oh for sure! That's why I'm trying different perks to see what goes well with him. So far I'm running
Save The Best for Last
BBQ
Thanatophobia
Discordance
I'm thinking I'm swapping BBQ for Nurses Calling once it pops up in the Bloodweb for me

Really enjoying playing him and as said before learning his strengths and weaknesses, haven't played survivor yet so I'm not sure what it's like going against him but he's definitely made it easier to play against high ranks as I'm just liking his playstyle, and I have definitely gotten the glitch where you look up after reeling and hitting a survivor, maybe just our controllers but it's not terrible to deal with. All in all I like the Deathslinger

I have to agree. He is my top fun now :3
IDK why, maybe how I can control survivors and force them to come to me haha! :3

I don't have bbq on him yet but I have nurses at tier 3 and it's been actually helping out alot I recommend it! I'm still playing around with builds atm, recently I've been trying out all hex perks with his he's perk and some have good synergy

He is amazing to play. I love to hear the shooting, and when it hits its sooo goood.
But, cause I play in console, no mouse, my aim is not that good, but im using the strafe aiming to refined aiming.
One thing is that ppl are countering him bodyblocking the spiked, so sometimes you cant get the second hit cause the chain is loosen.
But the sensation of the shot is cool. Looks instant to me. I know it isnt, but just cause @FireHazard said on another topic. Very fun killer, but needs some buffs to his power.

That's a good idea for a build actually!
I'm a big fan of running M&A on him, his terror radius is 16 metres while his rifle's range is 18! You can spear 'em before they hear you coming, which is amazing.
BBQ & PGTW also pair well after you've surprise-caught and downed a survivor.
My fourth perk is usually just a random-wild card. Trying STBFL or Nurse's calling for that slot should work really well

Trying out Dead Man's Switch this game. Let's see how that goes hahaha.

Definitively, M&A is a perk with sinergy with his power, once it makes the TR smaller than 18 meters.

The ability to reel them in is so clutch. Even if you can't, th few seconds of relief you get after deep wounds is applied is fantastic

GL, I'll admit the only perk of his I've tried out is gearhead, and that didn't go so well.
I'm a bit scared to try out his other perks lol, tell me how it goes!

I aways use the 3 original perks of a character until i get his adept. So, their perks have no sinergy with his powers. I think its more about his lore...
Well, two localization perks (gen aura indication) and one Hex with double function, wich aura reading use to be the most effective than the Oblivion status.
What can I say? When I get the adept, i wont touch those perks with him again. Unless for some meme purpose.

Finally, a positive thread!
I myself enjoy playing against him, not as him though, because I think it's slightly difficult and not my taste.

Yeah so DMS is worth it .I managed to stall the game for at least two minutes and managed to get 2kills because of it. When it's down to the last three gens, it becomes to useful. Can see it working very well with Nemisis.
Yeah I don't see his 3 perks working very well together but on their own they can be pretty powerful if the situation is correct

Yeah, the totem one can be very strong in a full totem build, for example.

Dead Man Switch + Freddy + Class Photo Add-on will be incredibly strong. Mark my words. Imagine blocking all generators for 40 seconds after knocking your Obsession then teleporting. 95% of survivors stop working on Gens when they see that blood spew out.
Can't wait to try it.

Haunted Ground + Devour Hope + Retribution is sounding nasty in my head hahaha

Jesus, that sounds terrifying..
and yeah, it seems like his perks are mostly built for specific builds. But if you say that dead man’s switch is good for stalling, I should try swapping out PGTW for it...

In my opinion it doesn't mesh well with STBFL because it means you actually have to hook your Obsession but man, it definitely works. Especially if you can run them off a Gen after.
