I can think of a few reasons why not, but these kind of discussions tend to get very toxic very quickly, so I'd rather not get into it. I was just genuinely curious as to why you wanted it to happen.

I like representation.
I've always had it as a headcanon because I've considered the idea that her parents made her the black sheep of the family just because of gaming to be really stupid.
Also once you can say the her backstory also states that she considers them holiday parents the fact that become part of her anxiety and self depression when it comes to letting people down completely baffles me.
The concept of them considering her a black sheep because something other than her gaming interest (for example her being a lesbian) gives plot points those more validation.
1) it's a more valid reason for making your only child a black sheep especially for a more conservative leaning family
2) the strained relationship forward also give more reason as to why she would consider them holiday parents.
3) it would also give more validation as to why she still wants to impress them with her gaming career and not let them down.

Yes I have seen them in Amanda is my favourite character more so than John but it would be nice if the added an archives about her experience after entering the entity's realm.
Also Saw archives means Saw based charms and Cosmetics for Amanda

That is going to be harder though, since it's a licensed chapter and they would need permition from the license which will take a lot of time and a lot of money
Also the licensed chapter with the most chances to be part of the rift is ghostface

If I remember correctly the devs said in on of their dev streams to a similar question that they don't want to straight out say or deny that a character is hetero or homosexual because they want the players to create a headcannon for themselves

Afaik They already said in a stream years ago that at least "one of the characters" at the time when that was said by them,was Gay/Lesbian
So there's at least one gay character,but it's unknown who is it
