    Good killer.

I feel like he is one of the somewhat balanced killer. He is not as fast as other killers which is a nice balance for his long range gun that can reel in a survivor, but also a very logical killer you have to make sure you don't take them from to far away because they can break off but you also have to make sure it's not to close. His gun can be countered by a small loop or even a quick turn and perks such as sprint burst can easily avoid the harpoon. I really enjoy playing this killer and playing as him, I think for some of the people complaining he is bad may no be use to shooter games as my friends and I are. The only poor thing about this killer is the perks I don't really care for them but it is an easy fix by just leveling him up. In all this Killer is a very lethal in the right hands, and I'm very impressed with him.

My first impression from playing as Deathslinger is that he would be good, if I were good at playing him. In other words, I felt like there was potential there. I certainly don't think he's top-tier, probably closer to mid (like maybe roughly on a level with Pig) but I don't think he's the pile of garbage that a lot of people are claiming. I strongly suspect that the main reason so many people think he's really bad, killers and survivors alike, is because the killers haven't figured out how to play him to his full potential yet.

    No opinion.

I haven't played as him myself and I've only played like 8 games against him.

I will say every Deathslinger I've faced has had all 5 gens repaired before they win 3-4 chases though. So, while I'll keep an open mind, right now I'm kinda skeptical of him.

    Appreciate all the responses!

Myself, I'm leaning toward this option because I really suck with him, but I feel like if I play against him it's such a nice and new experience.

Some people don't like it and think that the gun and this new mechanic/power is unfitting, but I'm personally okay with that.

    Good killer.

I play a lot of FPS games, so he was comfortable right away. I'm not the best with him, but I like catching survivors off guard, especially dragging them from high ground. Gameplay aside, the aesthetic of his map is amazing and Caleb and his backstory are brutal.

I don't care if he is strong or not, i love him. He is so much fun to play and to verse. His appearance is so cool and i love the chase music as well as the main menu music. Even though my mouse isn't working as intended sometimes because it's broken, which will lead to some missed shots, i still enjoy playing him so much. The nice laugh from him just makes it all around perfect for me.

    Overall 12 out of 10.

Definitely a high-skill, high-reward Killer. It takes some creativity to overcome the breakability of the chain.

I'd say he could use some buffing, however: Survivors can move the chain WAY too much, making it quite easy to punish Deathslinger for landing long-range shots because they have so many opportunities to keep themselves from getting within melee range. Also, being 110 with no mobility is a serious hindrance on large maps, and it'll be a wonder if you can do well there.

I voted other because I consider him to be three of the options, (good killer, fun to play as, and against).

The past four killers to be released (GF, Demo, Oni, Cowboy) have all been really fun for me and I hope the trend continues like this.

I find him not super fun to play against, but fun to play as, but I don't think this is really a problem. He has been out for less than a week and I believe we need time to learn how to play against him, much like Oni, he will be difficult to go against early on, but eventually he will become a more manageable killer to play against. I find him difficult because I just don't know how to go against him yet.

He's really rough to play as. Especially on console. Needs a speed boost and possibly a buff/nerf to his chain. What I mean is increase the speed his chain reels but decrease the strength of the chain. Now you can down them faster but maybe another survivor could stand in the way if your not careful and break the chain.

I think he's definitely fun to play as, and sort of fun to play against. However, I think he needs some minor tweaks to be viable, he has some crucial downsides to his power compared to the Huntress, which is not good.
