The second iteration of 2v8 is now LIVE - find out more information here: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/480-2v8-developer-update

What is your favorite change or addition to content that came with the chains of hate chapter?

The new map is top tier in my opinion getting hooked right there in the street crossroad is actually pretty intense and very charming. I also enjoy bringing just a simple brown medkit without having to worry about using it up.

Yeah, I think the new Map is really cool. It is a truly remarkable Map in that it features things never seen before in DBD, such as the new outskirt walls, the tumbleweeds, the vulture flying around, the canyons beyond the outskirt walls, the sunset, the stars in the sky and the Wild West Theme. It's overall visually stunning. It's one of the best Maps in DBD in my opinion.

The deathslinger. He's cool, and fun.

I look up at those stars and try to find the entity as a constellation. Brings new life to holding m1 on generators. Lost in the stars and hitting great skill checks.

His walk speed is going to be a issue in red ranks. All survivors have to do is maintain distance. It should be addressed.

Yeah, it's really different than what we're used to on DBD. This Map is just a great addition to the game.

That map is GORGEOUS. I love all the little details too, like the trap door on the gallows when you finish that gen, the steampunk-inspired exit gates, and the tumbleweeds and cacti.

I actually enjoy going against the Deathslinger too. I haven't gotten the DLC for myself yet so haven't tried him out, but it's cool to fight against the harpoon and to hear the gun going off in the distance.

New Map, New Killer (even tho he might be a tad weak) and New Survivor (idk i just love her design)

I'm not really that fond of the perks tbh. Although For The People seems like a cool design i've yet to see a "proper" use for it.

I enjoy the Deathslinger and the new map so much. I saved up my iridescent shards just so I could buy him as soon as he was available.

I mean he is a range dude. He is shooting from distance. I don't see how distance is your problem. It seems common misunderstanding why range killers are slow. I understand what your problem is that is why I find the new killer not really that great. You want map pressure but they can't give u one. Instead they give you potential in chasing. And a round vs him is all about how fast you can run /if chased/ and how fast you can do the gens before he kills you all. It is just really boring for me that type of gameplay

I haven't played as him at all. From my point of view as survivor he is extremely easy to outrun. Distance is key. Hanging out in defiance at a gen is the bad play. Going to a new gen before ole creaky bones comes over is the right play.

End game when killer downs someone and chases another. For the people works. Infectious fright killers slug in order to down another trying to add pressure you no longer take all that time healing. If you are injured and you go for the hook save, let the person heal you up use for the people if there's no time for two full heals.

Activate resilience, allow dead hard, fight the slug play. I mean killers are slugging less now so it might not see much play but I hate the slug game so much I'll run it every game just to counter it hard at the right moment. Also as a little extra benefit you want to take the heat off the obsession being tunnelled now we can take the target off them.

Plague Starting with a corrupt Fountain in the beginning of the match (although the obvious global sound of the fountain activating in the very beginning of the match as corrupt kinda ruins the surprise that they are up against plague), and the changes they made to Docs mechanics and Add-ons. Also Retribution is a really nice perk that gels well with other hex perks for some seriously fun combo's. Trapper resetting placed traps is ok, but unless they were disarmed, its not very useful, also i dislike how resetting the already placed trap takes the same amount of time to do as setting them in the first place, If they could shave off .5 seconds for doing it, then it would be much better IMO.
