Toolboxes
I just don’t think toolboxes needed to be nerfed that hard in the latest patch. They’re almost unusable. Anybody else agree?

I'll say I'd much rather they do something about gen completion speed in general. Toolbox or barehanded, it was still too fast. All they did it nerf the fastest method if genrushing, but still genrushing is easy as hell.

Seems fine so far. Win / loss averages don't appear to be changed. Depends on whether individuals were reliant on toolboxes or not. Some may need an adjustment period.

Tool boxes now feel entirely useless. No benefit to repairing and no benefit for sabo unless you run an entire sabo build with your friends. Dont know why to have them in game anymore, just waste of bloodpoints.

I would have directly removed the possibility of using the toolboxes on the generators and I would have integrated the possibility of seeing the aura of the hooks as the new sabo.

They feel useless, but they arent. Take a look at this
The tables in repair speed and history show a comparison how long you need to repair a gen. The lower toolboxes have changes of 2-4 seconds you need longer, the commodius is now even the same speed bonus, just that you cannot use it on almost three gens. The engineers toolbox with double speed addons is now pretty much the same as a BNP, just without skillchecks.
Overall speed got a bit nerfed, the main difference is, that you now can decide when you need a speed boost, instead of using the toolbox all the time. If you start a gen using up your toolbox and then the killer comes by with pop, you wasted the toolbox. If you are at 80% and the killer picks up someone right beneath you, use the toolbox and deny the pop. That is surely not useless.

Cant change gen speed with out adjusting hook stages. It would be too ez to camp for wins if gen speeds get longer and hook stages stay the same.
Plus doing gennys is boring. No one wants to sit on a genny any longer.
