I've figured out why I hate playing against Deathslinger

The majority of Deathslingers I play against all have had a similar, very safe (which usually means boring) playstyle. They play like a boring Huntress who isn't confident in their hatchet throwing so they just bloodlust you and m1 you until you're forced to throw a pallet or vault a window, THEN they'll use their power.

Fine. It's a safe way to play, although it's boring to go against.

The part that irritates me more than basically playing like a boring Huntress is the damn near tier 1 Myers stealth he has with M&A when he has a ranged weapon, and everyone who plays him proxy camps like a Hag. The character is basically made for camping, because you can pretend to go away, and you don't have to go far with his awful terror radius, and then come right back within like 5 seconds of someone being unhooked for more boring gameplay. No killer with that much range should have that small of a terror radius.

tl;dr

Plays like a boring Huntress who doesn't throw hatchets, damn near tier 1 Myers stealth, proxy camps like a Hag.

And before all the people jump in here yelling "nothing is wrong with camping/tunneling/blahblah", I never said there was. It's just a very boring playstyle to go against and it isn't fun

Ohh sorry, didn't realize you must be new to the game, welcome.

You may not realize that around 90%+ of player at rank 1 are playing atleast 2-man swf, the stats are out there, soo slugging isn't really doing much, and yes people run moris all games cause they are infinite.

Oni can't even get his power up (if you have more than 3 braincells) before 3 gens are done.

I'm talking about survivors ending the game in 5 mins not killer.

    welcome to my TEDTALK.

1: Over 2,000 hours (reached rank 1 on Survivor AND Killer)

2: So what if they are????

3: Not necessarily, you can get a first hit pretty quickly and passively build the power from there.

4: THAT WAS LITERALLY THE POINT OF MY COMMENT WHICH YOU APPARENTLY DIDN'T READ XD You don't actually CARE about the match being 5 minutes long. You just care that the survivors side if capable of being the ones to end the match quickly.

5: Your TEDTALK is also boring

Almost 3k hrs played since beta, with infinites and 20 seconds sprint burst, and i would rather go back and play then than now, this is the worst state the games has ever been in, and only players from 2016 can agree on this, you excluded.

Again i'm assuming you're baiting if not i'm sorry for you. What if they are 4-man swf 4Head.

Oni cannot activate his power passively, so you need 2 hits if not 1 and chase that guy for about 2 mins, by that point congrats you lost 3-4 gens.

Add some paragraphs, make it easier to read XD, I can give a ######### less if survivors win or lose, i care about chases and when i engage in 1 chase and lose 3 gens even if i down the first guy relatively fast "is boring"

BTW how can you be camped if you didn't "lose" to the killer ?

I think you'd be hard pressed to find ANY killer main who agrees that passive Exhaustion rebuild and ACTUAL infinites were better and more balanced than the state the game is in now, but if that's the hill you want to stand on, go for it XD

Your claim was that most teams around rank 1 are at least a 2k. I said so what if there are to that 4head (try reading your own comments)

2 hits isn't hard to get. And by passively, I meant the injured survivor constantly leaks blood orbs and you can follow their bread trail to get your power.

Your original argument was against 5 minute matches. Nothing to do with chases. Now you're switching up the argument from what you originally said.

I don't even understand the point of your last line there. Who said anything about losing or not losing to the killer?

Deathslinger tr with m+a is 16 meters. T1 Meyers has a TR of 0. T1 has undetectable.

Equally true for survivors who get camped off the first hook with still 4-5 gens intact.

Developers would have plenty of possible solutions to make the game better for both sides but instead they focus on developing GESTAPO like denouncement systems and "punishing" measures.

You can't go and invoke stats out there and then ignore the over 50% kill rate in all ranks. Those stats are very loose at best. Two man SWF is not a problem. I'll face those all day long. It is 4 man groups of high rank survivors that know what they are doing. Those are the problem. With that problem comes the very real difference between SWF and solo. This is a whole other can of worms. Many layers to crap that can't be fixed with any one wave of a wand.

I don't know the reason why you play this game, and tbh i don't care, just being honest.

i personally play this game to chase people, that's fun for me, but when you engage in 1 chase and lose 3 gens, then chase another guy lose another gen...., yes i would rather go back to infinites and have 15 mins matches.

If i want to see people speed running games i would go watch GDC, atleast those are good games.

When killers play like that, they could give a rat's a$$ about whether or not survivors are having fun. It's fun to them because they're winning.

I'll chalk it up to them getting used to Deathslinger and being tired of missing their shots every 8 seconds, so they play it safe till they're more comfortable after a few more games. Gotta admit it's quite comical hearing gunshots ring out afar for 3 mins and see no DW hits while I'm on gens: "Damn, he sucks with that thing..." lol

Maybe if survivors movement wasnt so chaotic since introduction of dedicated servers, and the spear doesnt have a hitbox with size of a needle you'd encounter more not-boring Deathslingers. And also if all the gens wouldnt pop in 5 minutes while you are missing your shots and getting slowed by it.

The stats are also out that 4 man tryhard hit squads are less than 5% of games, but I dont see that in your rant.
