The devs need to do something about gens going to fast
Seriously I slug 2 people yet 2 gens go this game is getting unplayable and unbearable as killer

Not a killer main I’ve been a 50/50 for as long as I can remember up until recently when killer just isn’t fun I’m doing my killer side tome now bc I dread killer at this point posting here I hope the devs realize that gens go to fast

I would recommend that you try hooking them in the early game instead of slugging. Hooking is actually much more threatening from the survivor perspective during the early game, and gets you closer to your objective. If you get two hooks before the second gen pops, you're actually not doing too badly.

Ya my rule of thumb when im playing is if we managed to get the first gen off before the first down were making good progress. The hooking is more what I pay attention to as a survivor not the slugging.

I have the same rule in reverse when I play killer, especially as Pig. If I can get the first generator to activate my first trap, I consider than an ideal start to the game.

The devs need to develop a better tutorial for killers, cause like you there's a lack of skill and game sense on killer side. You just showed that you do not know how to play this game right.

Well just stick our heads in the sand like good lemmings. Before we know it, survivor q times will double. The deaths linger fad will wear off soon and the momentary reduction in Q time will be over. But PLEASE stick to your ideology lol.

They need to do something about the killers ability to use ebony Mori’s after 1 hook. That’s unfair too. Goes both ways sir. From a killers perspective it might seem fair but solo nah. How about the lag? Unfair hits. Speed. You can’t run the killer forever and I don’t really find that fun either. But I think the game can go just as fast with gens (if you think so, however I don’t see it happening playing without a team communicating or a pro killer runner - which I’m not) so , think about those people. Nah forget about them right? I didn’t know I’d rubber band backwards get hooked and Mori’d right after then walk out with 2 thousand points. I didn’t know it was possible to go out that quick. What about that? They should make Mori’s useable after everyone’s been hooked once. I like that better.

I mean what have they done to change gen speeds since release thats bothering you? Other than ruin (which in my opinion is actually better now than it was before - but i still hate hex perks as they're too unreliable) whats actually changed? They've added gen slow down perks and nerfed survivor items. I really dont understand where this sudden outcry about gen speeds is coming from...

What gen slowdown perks are you referring to exactly? Please enlighten us. If you are referring to Freddy ADDONS they were nerfed, if you are referring to dying light that boosts obsession and goes away on death..... I mean what are you talking about? Oh I got it... PGW Yup that’s it. Wonderful perk that if you can’t down a survivor quickly is entirely useless. Get off your survivor main and play killer

You obviously dont know how dying light works - it doesnt boost obsession repair speed... Only boosts unhooking and healing other Survivors.
I'm not going to list every slowdown perk introduced since launch (hint its at least 5 depending on what you consider "slowdown perk")

Devs basically made toolboxes useless. Few survivors use them to sabotage hooks. Fewer use them on gens. What more do you want? Bring back old ruin?.... It ain't happenin' dude.

Do the math on those useless toolboxes. Macro they do less.... micro they do a lot more faster. So the gen issue for killers who can’t traverse the map quickly got worse. Please play killer before you spout what you hear on twitch

Acceptance is the first step and I'm glad you're able to be honest.
I never said they stacked though - in fact the devs have said thats one of the reasons for the Hex:Ruin change - it was too much when stacked with other slowdowns.
Some slowdowns which have came out since the game released include, but are not limited to, Thanataphobia (paired well with Sloppy Butcher or Nurses Calling), Dying Light, Overcharge, Pop Goes The Weasel, Corrupt Intervention, Thrilling Tremors, Surge, Dead Mans Switch, etc.
I mean you could argue about Overwhealing Presence and Lullaby but even without getting into that those are 8 slowdown perks added since release. As opposed to what, zero gen speed perks added to survivors since release?

your a joke lol get off my post I’ve been playing this game for a very long time now both before and after ruin I was rank 1 both as killer and survivor so I know how to play I play all day everyday so maybe just be quiet?

even the old ruin is not good anymore since totems get cleansed like 30s into the game,and toolboxes are not useless,the genrushing still there,i have many games where 2 gens pop in like 3 mins and im not lying,this need to be fix,how can they say that this game is balanced since its clearly not,pretty good job so far lol

I think she just means to say we are sure the devs know how MANY PEOPLE feel about gens and think they should be 3 to 5 minutes each. I mean the current time is 80 seconds per gen if one person is doing it without a toolbox and 44.44 if 2 survivors are. That is a bit to fast considering some of these killers move like slugs. Although the Doctor can reach with his static blast like a NUTJOB and other killers seem to pressure the maps well enough along with even the wraith.
Sadly it is hard to fix these problems because some killer mains think the gen time is just fine and others think it's to short. It may even just be the killer they are playing needs a tune up. It is many factors in the equation of this game just to assume it is the gens time fault. It could be the lack of killing power for killer or the player vs player skill levels or the map. In the end so many things need to really be looked at.

Tell me, how else is the community supposed to voice their opinion, if not on the forums? Devs stated that they have listened before to the complaints on here so why not add it on the pile? The bigger the pile, the bigger the chance they will look into it. If they conclude it's not a problem then you got nothing to worry about.

Gens need changes. Ignore the survivor mains. The game is busted since ruin got destroyed. There is not much point in even playing if survivors know what to do. They will have 3 gens done before you can even get 1 hook. God forbid you go left instead of right in the early game and thats a gen done. Survivors control the game, not killers. Killers have made it clear that they aren't having much fun anymore and it shows in the queue times. Instant for killer always, long time to play survivor.
