The ps4 killer experience is miserable
I have said it before and I’ll say it again I have grown to hate playing killer so much gen rushing so frustrating I took a 2 week long break and waited as long as I could to finish the killer side tome and it’s just as miserable as I remember devs really need to do something or I seriously think most of the killer player base will just stop playing killer it’s getting so bad I just hate it now

It’s not just gen rushing either although it is that 99% it’s also cocky swf with all flashlights I’ve had 4 games today with that and between gen rushing and “hit squads “ it’s miserable and I have uploaded a few there either taken down or put into a group that many people won’t see

Haha Devs just think of survivors, they don't nerf genrush even they think that genrush is not a trouble, I was main killer but I took a rest. There are a lot of games to play if Devs fixed genrush I will come back ..

It's like that on all platforms. Consoles are just worse because of how poorly optimized they are. Survivors can get away with a lot more things on consoles than on PC.

I just quit a match for killer.
They looped me aeound a single ######### window 3 times then made their way to a second loop. I don't even know how that's possible but I'm about ready to pop.
And it's been like this all day.
Played a match as survivor and the ######### mori'd me instantly.

Rank 1 killer here on PS4. SWF problem is much worse on PS4 than PC due to how easy it is for randoms to get into a party together. I've had to ban over 60 survivors from sending hate filled and salty messages after a match. I play a lot of survivor too and I've never had a killer message me except asking to farm. I embrace the challenge and love to sweat in video games though. There's absolutely no better feeling than absolutely clapping a 4-man SWF on maps like Red Forest/Coldwind Farm with killers in the Trapper/Leatherface tier

It’s really bad dude I hear you. There is not one evening that I play that I don’t encounter optimal SWF teams. I know this is easier said than done but try to avoid the little turds that abuse infinite loops and go for the weakest link. Tunnel if you have to. When the distractor of the group knows you’re not wasting time chasing them thru infinite loops they will start tbagging trying to get your attention but you gotta try to be patient and not pay attention to them. Swfs tend to be super altruistic though so do whatever you have to do to get any points during the match whether it’s tunneling, proxy camping, or whatever is most convenient. This will not automatically make you win the most points but you were already at a huge disadvantage to begin with so ######### them.

My last 10 games have been Ormand and corn literally it’s just ruining my experience and why I just dread playing killer at this point

If you feel you’re running into those maps a lot I would suggest equipping sloppy butcher and bloodhound. Aside from the map set up, one of the main issue in dbd as a whole is visibility which leads too poor tracking. Running those perks together could alleviate some of those problems

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one on ps4 who doesn't have issues playing killer. Like, yeah I'll lose games now and then but I win the majority of my matches. Some games are tough and gens can go by super quick but I just power on through and I do alright.

Pretty vague answer here but just play Freddy with every slowdown perk and you should be able to destroy Swfs if you want it easier just equip a Ebony Mori. I've been playing nothing but Freddy and Spirit because red rank games are just garbage for killer, i literally have to go into each match sweating out of fear of getting bullied playing a weaker killer.

I just went up against a 3man swf the 4th (a random) was afk they did 3 gens super fast If the random didn’t hide in a locker that whole game they probably would have escaped if the team is good then killers have a hard time

I pretty much only play spirit but today I’ve been playing Freddy probably why I’ve been having such a bad time (I’m playing him because he has 3rd year anniversary cakes) I’m trying to p3 the new survivor

As others said there is more swf and survivors can get away with more (i.e. 360) but I'm pretty sure it's much the same otherwise.

I find Bloodhound useful on PS4 when I'm playing killers other than Doc. I have my TV as bright as I can get it, but those maps are brutal to track on.
Of course, I knew lots of people may not want to run it, but it does help me in the corn hellrealms

I usually only run the combo with killers I don’t play often when I’m gettting sweaty SWF teams. It also depends on what I see survivors carrying during the lobby. For example if they have 2 or more flashlights I won’t run hag or wraith as they would be at a super disadvantage. I feel like most killers that I’m getting used to or just having really bad luck with I’ll run that combo. Also if I’m just trying to get kills without worrying so much about the blood points I love using noed and blood warden as they punish douchey survivors often. If I do want points I’d throw in bbq along with something that would help the most with what I have trouble with/ quality of life improvement when playing a given killer

i dont get it, how?? i'm really enjoying killer.. rank 1 and 4k most of the time with ghostface or braindead freddy. please, how on earth do people actually feel like this? switch to survivor then cuz it seems like killer just isn't your thing.
