Pipping inbalancing
So I just saw this from @SpaceCoconut
"Killers are punished in the tally screen for not letting survivors play. The punishment is irrelevant to some players like myself, but the idea is there.
Where is the punishment for survivors who complete gens very quickly taking away time from the killer to be able to play?"
And it got me wondering. How can you introduce mechanics so that a survivor pipping can be tailed to be simular to killer?
Maybe make protection hits give you more benevolent points and make it so you only have to get 2 gens done by yourself to get Iri light bringer or something like that
And before you say it. No. A second objective is not going to work as that'd just be more holding m1 or it'd be such a melinal task that can be done by 1 person it wouldn't even be worth putting in at all. And if it's optional it doesn't solve the issue of match times being too short because it's optional. You don't have to do it.

If I complete a trial in which I get three gens completed and go unbroken, however win a chase and we don't get an unhook because the killer either camps late game or doesnt get a hook, I'd safety pip.
It works the same on both sides.

Surely it works on both sides. But He doesnt understand this, just look up his other threads. It obviously just poor baits.

I think part of the survivors' punishment is in the miniscule amount of bloodpoints you get for rushing and leaving without performing your due diligence, at least.
Some people don't care, of course, and I'm not saying it's right, fair, or what have you. I'm just guessing maybe that's part of the 'balance' rationale?

I have had games as a survivor where I don't get hit once and do 4 gens and save maybe 1 survivor and just get a black pip but not a REAL PIP.
I know as killers you do not want to let survivors get away but the game is more about winning chases and getting more than 1 hook per survivor. When I play killer I honestly never camp or waste time slugging I hook and go to the next gen. I also have this way I play where I kind of let certain gens get done so I can huddle the survivors to the gens most close together. They think they are doing great and then look and go CRAP because I can no cover the gens.
Yes some games are better than others and I have had games where 3 gens pop in 2 or 3 minutes. I think OH CRAP but the problem is most the time the survivors screw themselves by leaving the gens most close together and I still get the 3 or 4k kill. I understand the issue people have with gen times and I am sincerely sorry you are having issues with this.
Also the punishment for the survivors that rush gens and escape is the fact they will not pip. If they do not win chases or get to rescue and heal teammates they wont pip. I know for a fact because I have had games where I got out and not one teammate was downed and my punishment was a low scoring game and no pip.

I thought I recognized his name. I think the other post were about gen times being to fast. I could be wrong.
