Original Killer/Survivor Ideas

Alright guys, gals, and non binary players! I asked what lisenced characters yall wanted and now its time to get creative!

Send me your ideas for original killers and survivors I honestly love how successful the first post was with ideas so I have a feeling this will be interesting.

You can be as in depth, or as vague as you want. And as an added bonus, I'll even think of some ideas based off of some of your posts. I'm not trying to steal ideas it just entertains me to see you guys share.

I for one, have written out a concept of an alien or extraterrestrial killer.

    I think some sort of Knight would be awesome, maybe even a possessed suit of armor

    The Angel-

    “I miss the world.” These are the words Azalea often told herself as she stared at the blank walls of her apartment. Life was never terrible, but it was never good either. She simply floated between places, a face in the crowd. The nothingness hurt her, she knew she was made for more. Her father always said she was an angel, his angel.

    That was until he left one day. She didn’t blame him. She didn’t blame anyone for anything. At least not anymore. She missed him.

    What? What would make him come back? She felt an itch in her face. She needed her wings. She was his angel after all. When she became a real angel, then he’d come back. She knew it.

    Cheap prop wings hung from her back, her dress was soiled after years of abuse. Her face still itched. Duck tape made it not so bad. So she wrapped her head in the tape. It tangled and stuck to her pretty hair. He always loved her pretty blond hair, it shimmered in the sunlight. But now it was dull and sticky.

    Her first victim was sloppy. But perfect in her eyes. Notable. Maybe the rest should be the same.

    God is calling now. The fog closed in. And she found herself back in that house. She’d find him.

    Power: Fools Prayer- The Angel becomes temporarily immobilized in prayer reducing her terror radius to zero and hiding the red stain. After a short charge The Angel lets out a loud scream and expands her terror radius significantly. Survivors inside the terror radius gain flying crows above their head notifying the angel of survivors location. Survivors can scare crows away by fast vaulting windows or fast vaulting in and out of lockers to remove a single crow per action. The angels terror radius returns to normal after the scream. Fools prayer goes on cool down for a time after use.

    Perks-

    Hex: Wings of An Angel: You swore you’d get them. Yet they got away from you. Feeding on false hope when the exit gates are opened a remaining hex totem on the map activates and survivors standing within the exit gate for 20/15/10 seconds without leaving are pushed out by by the entity and the gate becomes blocked forcing the survivors pushed out to use the secondary exit. This effect can only happen once per survivor pushed out and blocked.

    “Please... Just one more chance, I’ll get it right! I promise!”

    Pins and needles: You’re tired of the hurt, yet it keeps coming back to you. Survivors who stun you with a pallet suffer from the exposed status for 15/20/30 seconds at the cost of an extra time spent stunned.

    Late Goodbye: You only ever wanted what was best for him. But you ended up with nothing. You become obsessed with one survivor. Upon hooking the obsession late goodbye activates. For every 10 meters you are away from the hooked obsession you gain a boost of speed by 3/4/5% and gain increased attack cool down upon successful attacks at the cost of a short stun with missed attacks. This perk no longer activates once the obsession has been killed.

    Concept sounds cool and the backstory is great and well thought out, but the power seems like doctor but with extra steps. I like the perks too

    Thank you! I tried to think of a relatively different, yet somewhat radical power for the killer. My thought process being- “Yeeeaaahhh you’re getting a lot of info. But at the same time theres ALOT of info. And since the fly over head bird still have a few seconds between each notification it can somewhat throw off the killer. That and I wrote this before the doctor rework but never saw anything like this thread before lol.

    Aaaah okay, that makes more sense. Before the doctor rework this would've been much better

    I have a few already marked out in their own posts. I will link them here for convenience:

    Slender Chapter (The Arrival): https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/80227/new-chapter-concept-the-arrival/p1 (I want this in so very much.)

    Knight Chapter (Pen and Sword): https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/87719/new-chapter-concept-pen-and-sword#latest

    Pirate Chapter (Lost At Sea. This one was basically reused as the Deathslinger): https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/84866/chapter-concept-lost-at-sea#latest

    New Trap Killer (Can't Fix the Broken): https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/79285/new-chapter-concept-cant-fix-the-broken#latest

    New Solo Survivor Concept (Bound By Blood): https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/98792/new-solo-survivor-concept-looking-for-feedback#latest (This would be my main survivor, but that is because I'm biased.)

    Angel Killer (Welcome the Rapture): https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/80929/new-chapter-concept-welcoming-the-rapture#latest

    Hopefully these aren't too bad. Im kind of miffed that they didn't credit me with the idea of a harpoon gun for Deathslinger, but it doesn't matter now. I have fun with him. : P

    They need to start going more classic Hollywood monster. Make a vampire. Make a werewolf. Hell I would love to see a creature from the black lagoon or a mummy or even "The Monster". They already covered all killers from the modern age now bring back the iconic horror types. And I would love to see an ability somewhere that lets you control a survivor like you purposely send them into a trap or make them injure themselves into the hurt or dying state.

    We've had a few killers from the past now so a futuristic one would be cool, like a cyborg of some kind.

    I know I'm late but i had a long time ago the idea for a killer. I was inspiring by two songs and adris (the plague) so i know it doesn't need a killer like this

    She doesn't have a name to this day bc I'm bad at names.

    Once a pretty woman. She was "happily" married, until the day her husband convinced her to plastic surgery, saying she would be even more beautiful. She was hesitant but said yes. Due to money issues or his greed, she went to the cheapest one. The surgery was not a success. At first her husband was "supportive", but after a while he has grown distanced. Until one fateful night she catches him and a friend of hers cheating. She snapped. So she takes a baseball bat and hits them until they aren't moving anymore. Yelling over and over "You did this to me!" That was the last time she was ever seen again.

    The idea for her appearance is that everything that could go wrong with plastic surgery has gone wrong.

    Wepaon: Baseball bat

    Power: i don't have an good and original idea .-.

    Perks would be all about her mistrusting.

    Like:

    Not anymore

    Ever survivor that meets up will give the killer a notification and their auras would be visible for 5/10/20 seconds. (Probably not a good perk)

    So far the female killers have turned out way more interesting than the male cast, so maybe we could get an interesting male addition? I'm thinking a mummy.

    Power: Possibly turns all lockers into a sarcophagus and he can teleport between them on a small cooldown? Maybe some baseline power as well I like hybrid killers not just cooldown ones. Maybe he can swing his bandaging? Swing them between trees to create a temporary slowdown if they cross it? idk.

    I want a mummy in this game though.

    Old killer idea I had

    Killer: The Cosmos

    lore: I don’t really know I want to go for a family man and astronomer turned lovecraftian horror

    Height: Tall

    TR: 30 m

    Speed: 4.4m/s

    Power: The Dying Star

    a Charge AOE that goes by 3 Tiers

    has a 15 m radius and has a 1.5 second charge

    to gain Tiers the Cosmos must use Mind Stealer a sprint attack that’s increase speed by 50% and decrease turn speed and FOV by 15% the attack last 10 seconds and after the 10 seconds The cosmos will go into a exhausted state. When a survivor is hit they drop sanity (2 sanity = 1 tier)

    :Note you start with tier 1

    :Second Note while in the charge state speed is decreased by 10%

    : Third Note if a survivor is hit by the AOE they will dimly glow red to indicate they been hit so you know when the debuff is active

    Tier 1 Any survivor hit within the AOE will suffer a random debuff (expose is not in the random pool) Debuffs last 30 seconds

    Tier 2 AOE now inflicts 2 random debuffs (expose is now possible but very very low chance) debuffs last 45

    Tier 3 AOE can now cause survivors to go into the injured state. Still 2 Debuffs and last 60 seconds.

    AOE is brought up to 20m and if used get reset to tier 1

    Perks

    : Return to Your Maker.

    a obsession perks that stacks up to 4 and require you to hook your obsession, after the hook a new obsession is chosen. If the last obsession dies lose 3/2/1 token.

    that grants a 2/3/4 degree increase in FOV and increases movement by 2/3/4

    bloodweb Rare, Very rare, Very Rare

    : The Voids Grasp

    after hooking a survivor the killer has 30 seconds to kick a generator resulting in the generator being Blocked by the entity for 20/25/30 seconds. 50/40/30 second cooldown is applied after kick.

    Bloodweb uncommon, Rare, Very Rare.

    Note: regression doesn’t take place unless regression perks are used such as Pop, Ruin, Surge, etc are in play.

    : The Decay of Time.

    Hex perk that causes pallets to break on drop

    Chapter Title:

    The Consequences of Conquest

    ——————————————

    The Priestess

    Name: Anacaona

    ——————————————

    Story:

    Anacaona was born in a small village outside a large sprawling city. She was Aztec and was born a younger twin sister Apozanolotl. During the birth, her mother died leaving her father, sister, and self to continue on. Life was tough for them, especially, when it came to money. They lived without food for very length periods while making the most of every single object. Almost to the point where they would had to share clothes, all three of them. Eventually, her father sold Anacaona at the age of thirteen to a local priest to help both his daughters survive. In the end, Anacaona would resent him for that decision for the rest of her life. However, she adapted. Slowly climbing her way through the temple life to her freedom, education, and power. At the age of sixteen, she officially freed herself from slavery and became an apprentice priestess that would assist in sacrifices. Anacaona was, at first, disguised by the mutilation of people. Yet, she started to take pleasure in the pain and torture she afflicted. Even, proud when she can prolong their suffering for extend durations of time. When she turned eighteen, just before her official indoctrination as a full-fledge priestess, a group of Spanish explorers invaded the city and massacred its inhabitants. Anacaona escapes the city and tried to hide in her childhood home, with her father. Yet, when she arrived, she found her father beheaded and hung from the door by other Spanish men. Anacaona scared of what do next uses her apprentice’s arthana to cut out her father’s heart in the hope to bring him to rest after the invasion. She eventually returned to the temple to find everyone slaughtered and the building desecrated. The sight saddened her immensely, she climbed up the cracked stairs to the massive alter at its peak. Anacaona laid down on its cold surface and stabbed her knife into her chest, clutching her father’s in the right hand. Her sacrifice was ultimately unheard, except by one being. Who drew Anacaona into the mist and began giving her unlimited sacrifices. So that maybe, after enough blood is spilled, her home will be restored.

    ———————————————

    Ability: Father’s Heart

    The very heart of the man that sold her. It radiates fear and despair. The vessel seems to attune itself to those who are feeling the same fear and agony that he once felt.

    +When holding the ability button, the ability will charge for 5 seconds then reveal the auras of all survivors outside a given radius, the range is determined by the percentage of blood collected: 1-20% 60 meters, 21-40% 50 meters, 41-60% 40 meters, 61-80% 30 meters, 81-100% 20 meters.

    -When activated the blood collected will drain as long as the ability button remains pressed.

    -When using the ability, The Priestess’s movement speed will be moderately (-20%) decreased and will be stunned or blinded significantly (+50%) longer.

    +When holding the melee attack button, The Priestess will charge her arthana then proceed to stab herself after both the melee attack button is released and the attack is fully charged. When this occurs every survivor within a given radius is damaged by only one heath state, the range is determined by the percentage of blood collected: the percentage of blood collected multiplied by .5 meters.

    -All blood collected will be drained after the attack is used.

    -The Priestess will be stunned for 7 seconds and hindered for 3 seconds after the stun.

    ————————————————-

    Weapon:

    The Blackened Arthana

    A gold-handled ritual knife that was used to cut the hearts out of the sacrificed and slit the throats of the damned. It craves blood and thrusts for pain. Its once ivory blade has tarnished from its sins.

    ————————————————-

    Teachable Perks:

    +Grand Sacrifice=You are obsessed with one survivor. If you hook your obsession, you will receive a 10/20/30% increase in action and recovery speed. If your obsession dies on hook, gain the ability to kill one survivor. The killer can only be obsessed with one survivor.

    -Your meticulous selection and devotion to sacrificing has caught the entity’s attention, granting you more power if you succeed.

    -“Only the best blood will appease the gods” -Anacaona

    +Hex: Broken Promise= At the start of the match, your aura will be revealed to all survivors closer than 30 meters until they complete their 4th/3rd/2nd generator. When your aura is hidden, all survivors receive the exposed status effect for 45 seconds. This effect is reapplied each time a generator is completed, when the 5th generator is completed all survivors also gain a considerable (-25%) decrease in all action speed.

    -The entity allows you to make a special deal before that match that you don’t plan on keeping.

    -“The promise of good will can easily be soured.” -Anacaona

    +Precise=When using a melee attack, if successful, apply the hemorrhage and hindered status effect until fully healed.

    -Your years of training to maximize pain and agony amongst your sacrifices have taught you where to hit for the most dramatic results.

    -“Even the smallest prick can cause the greatest harm.” -Anacaona

    Here’s the follow up:

    Chapter Title:

    The Consequences of Conquest

    ——————————————

    Name: Apozanolotl

    ——————————————

    Story:

    Apozanolotl’s story begins as her sister is sent to a temple as a priest’s slave. Everyday after that, Apozanolotl secretly visited her sister. Growing with her and learning some of what her sister was studying. When Apozanolotl wasn’t with her sister, she would play in the great jungles outside her village. Learning everything about it: where to look for food, where not to go, and most importantly how to take advantage of her jungle surroundings. Some within her village say that once Apozanolotl enters that place, you can only find her if she wants you to. On her eighteenth birthday, Spanish invaders began killing her neighbors and friends while Apozanolotl was foraging within the jungles. When she returned from her journey she found her father beheaded, nailed, and had his heart ripped out. She was devastated, but it was short lived. The murders that massacre her people were drawing closer. She ran, hiding the jungle. Either evading their attempts of searching or harming them before they see her and disappearing. Eventually, the pursuers left, allowing Apozanolotl to search for her sister. Apozanolotl was too late. As she made her way to the temple her sister resided in and reach the top, Apozanolotl saw her sister’s suicide. She saw the mist that began dragging her lifeless body. She saw the heart in her sister’s hand. Apozanolotl followed her sister into the void-like mist only to wake up in a foggy realm. That was both familiar and not at the same time.

    ——————————————

    Teachable Perks:

    +Making do=Any item used by you lasts 50/75/100% longer, however with a moderate (15%) decrease in that item’s action speed.

    -Your experiences of starvation, conservation, and frugality has taught you to make the most of what you have, to the point where it’s excessive.

    -“It’s better saved than sorry”-Apozanolotl

    +Cheap and Savage=When you stun the killer or disable any of their belongings (i.e. cleansing hex totems (not dull totems), disarming traps/abilities, and etc) this perk will gain a token; with a maximum of 3 tokens. If this perk has 3 tokens and you are picked up by the killer, all tokens are removed and the wiggle action is moderately (25%)/considerably (50%)/significantly (75%) completed and will stun the killer for an extra 3 seconds. This effect does not stack and the stun that caused by this effects does provide a token.

    -The methods you used to evade and even subdued the lingering invaders helps you in the stickiest situations.

    -“When it comes to survival, you must be willing to do anything.” -Apozanolotl

    +Mysticism=If the killer uses one or more hex(es), this perk will light up and you will receive a 10/20/30% increase in totem cleansing speeds. Any hex totem you interact with will reveal the hex attached to it.

    I was thinking of making a killer/survivor hybrid

    Like the killer and survivor are the same person... But the entity split their personality

    And I'd type everything out when I get time including perks, power, map and add-ons

  • Shymare_11
    Shymare_11 Member Posts: 494

    So like a Jackal and Hyde type character? Will they be able to switch during the trial or is it that they are on both the survivor and killer selection menu? If they could switch during a match, how will they be to (are there going to be specific conditions, an ability, or a station [like for the Plague]) able to change? Finally, how will they deceive survivors? Will they take on the form of an existing survivor, the form of a random survivor, or will they have a special survivor form?

    No my idea would be (putting me into the game) one person but have a survivor side with perks and a killer with perks

    THE DERANGED

    Warning: I can't type

    Dead By Daylight: Inquisitive Horror Chapter

    lore

    Edward Crosby was an esteemed inventor. He had settled down to making toys for all of the children in his sleepy little town. He was like a Santa. He brought gifts of all shapes and sizes, all made by him. But one night, members of a crime organisation broke into his home, and everything changed. He woke up in a warehouse, unable to see. For the years following, his talented hands were forced to made weapons for their gang. But he had a plan, and one winter night, he put it into action. He threw the gang members in his cell, and tortured them for the following weeks with his own contraptions. He felt something he had never felt before. Joy rushed through him as his former captors screamed and slowly wilted away. He resolved to do this again and again. He returned to his former home under dead of night, and captured a child. He was tortured for weeks, his screams fueling Crosby's bloodthirsty fire. Every week or so he would claim a new victim. After they died he would tie their mangled body in a noose and hang it from the ceiling. But eventually, Edward's booming laugh, or perhaps his victim's screams, were what was his downfall. He was attacked and held at gunpoint. The bullet collided with his head.

    Edward opened his eyes to see a dark wilderness ahead of him. Was this hell? No, it couldn't be. Hell wouldnt have given him four unsuspecting victims sitting just 20 feet from him. Edward smiled. Wherever this place was, it was going to bring him such joy in the coming weeks.

    Power: Crazed inventor

    The Deranged has the ability to torture survivors.

    Special Attack: Cruel Intentions

    Using cruel intentions, the Deranged can start torturing survivors in different ways. Survivors effected by cruel intentions have a cube around them in the HUD. After 10 seconds, effected survivors will see either:

    Static on their screen

    Their screen flashes red

    If the screen shows static, the survivor starts suffering from the EXHAUSTED status effect. The next object they interact with becomes trapped. Trapped objects act like a hook, and any survivor that interacts with one becomes trapped. a survivor cannot be sacrificed while trapped. However, once their timer runs out, The Deranged has the ability to KILL them as long as they remain trapped. If the timer has not been depleted, the Deranged can pick a survivor up out of the trap and hook them regularly.

    If the screen flashes red, the entity puts the survivor in a lockbox. Only one survivor at a time can be put in a lockbox. The survivor can either attempt to escape by themselves or wait for help. The lockbox has 4 stages, each of which cause different effects. Stages progress every 15 seconds. Each stage gives the trapped survivor a chance to escape by completing a series of skill checks. This will come at the cost of their team.

    1st stage- Lockbox starts to crush the survivor inside. Survivors have 45 seconds to save their teammate. The survivor inside can attempt escape, but success will cause all other survivors to scream and be effected by the EXPOSED status effect for 60 seconds. The survivor inside cannot be saved by a teammate in this stage.

    2nd stage- The Lockbox now has a terror radius. All survivors within 32 meters of the lockbox suffer from the EXHAUSTED status effect and will scream after 10 seconds in the lockbox's terror radius. After 15 seconds (which is how long it takes to rescue a survivor in a lockbox) the survivor suffers from the EXPOSED status effect for the remainder of their time in the Lockbox's terror radius.

    The trapped survivor may attempt to escape. If they are successful, all other survivor's auras are revealed to you for 15 seconds.

    3rd stage- The lockbox is at its most deadly in the third stage. If the survivor inside the lockbox is not saved within 15 seconds, they are killed. The Lockbox's terror radius increases to 40 meters. When trying to save a survivor from a lockbox, skill checks can now occur. A failed skill check causes both survivors to switch places with each other, and the lockbox resets once this occurs. Once the survivor in the lockbox is saved, they cannot be put back into a lockbox. If they are saved in the third stage, they get put into the DYING state but automatically recover after 10 seconds.

    4th stage- only occurs after a survivor is saved from a lockbox. The Lockbox collapses and turns into a trap. Any survivor that hasn't been trapped already gets put into a Lockbox if they step on this. Must be effected by Cruel Intentions to spring the trap.

    PERKS:

    Mangler of bodies-

    You kill anyone in your way without mercy. When a survivor is hooked, all other survivors scream and reveal their location to you for 2/3/6 seconds. When the survivor is unhooked, they suffer from the DEEP WOUNDS status effect. They will be put into the DYING state if they don't mend within 10 seconds.

    "I've been searching for a way to make their screams louder, to cause them unceasing pain. These hooks... they are perfect"-Edward Crosby

    Insane drive-

    Your have an obsession with causing them pain. Survivors bleed out 15/20/25 percent faster while inflicted with deep wounds or when in the dying state.

    "It will be painful, but you're causing me joy. Isn't it wonderful, making someone happy?"-Edward Crosby

    Hex: Blood Reaper-

    A hex rooting its power on death. The following effects persist as long as the related Hex Totem is standing:

    Once a survivor is sacrificed or killed, a dull hex totem becomes lit with this perk. When stunned or blinded, you gain a token up to a maximum of 5/4/3 tokens. Once the maximum number of tokens have been gained, any attack inflicts the DEEP WOUNDS status effect on survivors you hit. If you have an obsession, you may KILL them once you reach maximum stacks.

    "I wasn't driven mad. But something clicked that night-something that told me that spilling blood was my calling. I was put on this Earth to torture, to mangle and kill."-Edward Crosby

    SURVIVOR

    John Maclallen

    John Maclallen is, and always was, a Scottish patriot. He served a few years in the military, won a few local sports championships, and would donate huge amounts of money to his country's charities. Esteemed player of the bagpipes, avid golfer, amateur historian, he did it all. He loved his country more than anything. But one day, he got thrusted away from it all. As he took a walk the thick fog rolled in. He blinked and opened his eyes to see a dark forest. This wasn't Scotland, that much was certain.

    PERKS:

    SCOTLAND FOREVER-

    You have an overwhelming love of your home. When within 25/27/29 meters of a hooked survivor, gain the HASTE status effect. If you successfully unhook a hooked survivor, you both get the ENDURANCE status effect for 25 seconds.

    "Scoooooooootlaaaaaaannnd Forevvvvvvvverrrrrr!"

    Pride-

    while pride hinders some, you embrace it. Every time a killer misses a basic attack while in a chase with you, gain a 30%/40%/50% speed boost for 3 seconds. Pride has a 65 second cooldown. This can be shortened by 15 seconds by taking a protection hit.

    "You think you can get rid of me like that, eh? Get ready for a shock, lad!"- John Maclallen

    Soldier On-

    Your military experience makes you tougher than most. Failing a skill check while healthy gives you the ENDURANCE status effect for 20/23/26 seconds once you become injured. If this perk is activated while injured, the ENDURANCE status effect is applied immediately.

    "Tis but a scratch!"

    Why do so many of these threads pop up in general discussions? Can’t you post your ideas in ‚Share Your Work - Creations‘ and get ignored there like the rest of us?

    Y’all really annoyed. Eat a snickers and move on. If you don’t want to see it, don’t enter the thread. It costs $0 to continue scrolling or moving to the next page.

    Jesus, this thread is old. Then again, it's an idea I want to share, so I'll share it.

    DBD Survivor Idea

    (Yazi comes from a separate reality to other original survivours. The specific year he is taken is 2023)

    ~~~~
    Yazi DeFirenze – An Unkillable Fighter
    “I saw a new face in the fog today. A man, taunting the killer as he ran from them, like he was trying to get their attention. I watched the killer chop him down, pick him up and string him up on one of the hooks. As the Entity claimed him, a flash of light appeared, and the killer walked off, seemingly infuriated. A few minutes later, I found him wandering the trial, somehow alive despite his sacrifice. I asked him what it felt like, living again. 'The same as always,' he said. I didn't know what it meant. I still don't.”
    • Unknown (Potentially Benedict Baker)
    Comes from Chapter [XX].5: Torn Stitches
    Lore:
    Where he’s from, things were normal, except just a bit worse. Soviets wanting revenge for having their plans foiled, always another fight around the corner, and World War 3 a not-so-distant memory that all but the participators forget. Yazi DeFirenze had gone through, in his words, “too much to be normal”. Thanks to tech and the intellect of people, death never stopped him. He simply kept on going.
    At least, he did until he was taken.
    Another fight resulted in him defending his allies from an ambush. As they retreated, Yazi finished the fight, with his rifle and his sword. Or he would of, had the fog not settled in. He couldn’t see where they were. All he could feel was something sharp tearing him up, bit by bit.
    By the time the fog dissipated, he felt… strange. Observing himself, he was healed. Not just from the fight, but from all the death he’d suffered through. His hair had been restored to its dark-blonde state, his scars had been healed and his eyes had returned to their original shade of dull green. All that remained on him was the metal plating from a lost fight of forever ago.
    He didn’t have his weapons. He didn’t know if he could fight a one on one. But he’d do it anyway, just to spite whoever he had to fight.
    Perks:
    Yazi’s perks, Taking the Brunt, Swing of Things and Never the End allow him to survive no matter what.
    Level 30 Teachable:
    Taking the Brunt
    Getting hit isn’t anything special to you.
    Whenever you are put into the Injured state, become Broken for the next 40/36/32 seconds. If you manage to end the chase and stay hidden from the killer in that time, instantly become healthy once the timer ends.
    If you enter the dying state, fail to end the chase or step in a bear trap, the Broken status effect disappears, and you do not heal.
    “Am I supposed to act hurt? Oh no, I’ve been wounded! Like I give a damn.”
    ~ Yazi DeFirenze
    Level 35 Teachable:
    Swing of Things
    Life’s terrible. You’ll get used to it eventually.
    For every chase won without taking a hit, Swing of Things gains 1 token, up to a maximum of 3
    For every token, you get:
    5/7/9% increase in the speed of all interactions
    A 33% chance to unhook yourself
    When all generators are completed or you are the last survivor left, all tokens are used up and Swing of Things deactivates
    “I’ll get the hang of this. Eventually. Give me a few hours.”
    ~ Yazi DeFirenze
    Level 45 Teachable:
    Never The End
    Death didn’t stop you before. It isn’t going to now.
    Your portrait will glow a yellow light whenever this perk is equipped.
    Once per trial after being sacrificed or killed, a flash of light will occur, and you will respawn far away from the killer in the dying state.
    Upon being healed or recovering from this dying state:
    • You will not be able to leave VIA the exit gates
    • You will get a permanent 5/10/15% speed boost for the remainder of the trial
    • You will be inflicted with the Broken status effect for the remainder of the trial
    This will not occur if you are the last survivor to die in the trial.
    Gain the opportunity to fully recover from the dying state once per trial
    “B-But I killed you! It can’t be possible! Can we at least talk this out?”
    ~ Dr. Muller
    If you are going to collaborate, I would love to see Predator. I honestly don't want to see him abused, so I don't want him out there...
    I love knives, so I would love to see a killer that uses ceremonial knives and daggers." A killer with a gimmick like "Save the Best for Last" or "Play with Your Food". A mask and hooded design would be awesome!
    I like trap killers, so I'd also like a killer that sets traps on pallets, windows, generators, hooks, and survivors.
    How about a poacher killer with a bow gun and a cape that makes him invisible? I would love to see him in a fight with the Huntress.
    The original killer I want most is a killer that takes down survivors by staring at them like a gorgon.
    That's what I was hoping for with Sadako, but it didn't work at all...
