Get off Deathslingers reel
Plz send help I have no clue how to get out of this, I've tried left and right and constantly wiggling to no avail

If there is nothing between you and the killer you will never break free before he hits you (except maybe if he hits you at max range and the chain clips something for a second), which is likely intended. You have to put obstacles in the path of the chain to break it faster.

Oh......so it's not a matter of just wiggling like when he's carrying you. Appreciate the heads up😅

No you can't wiggle free. But like @Anevian said just put the chain through obstacles. Also try make sure that there is always obstacles between you and Slinger. This will give you better chances of finding a way to break it. And don't run in a straight line but don't wiggle and spin all of the place. Killers gain on you when you do that.

When they say wiggle out of the chain, they really mean hold away from the Deathslinger for dear life and try to find an obstacle or another Survivor and pray he doesn't have either charge or reeling speed add-ons.

something ive seen many do wrong is that they try to break out of the chain the same way they wiggle.
the chain does not require you to hit A and D repeatedly, you can use A and D freely and move the chain in that direction in order to get something inbetween you and him, which breaks the chain much faster.
