Rank reset change made solo survivor unbearable
The change the devs made to rank reset a few months back has killed the survivor half of the game for me. Almost every match I get paired with red ranks who run into a corner to Self Care against Sloppy Butcher, completely ignore the info they get from my Kindred, avoid gens like they're allergic, and go down five seconds into every chase.
I've gone from playing survivor most days when I have free time, to going weeks without playing it because every time I boot up the game and play a few survivor matches, I remember why I hate it. For all that people on these forums complain about SWAT team SWFs, and I know they're an issue, as a solo survivor the experience is completely miserable.
It's at the point where every single survivor ends up in red ranks because pipping is trivially easy and boosted survivors don't get knocked back down to their real rank by rank reset. Between this and teammates who sandbag, killers who BM for no reason, or hateful slurs in post game chat, it's almost impossible to have fun playing solo survivor.
The rank reset change and the devs refusing to address the solo/SWF divide have made this game miserable for everyone in the playerbase who isn't running in a regular SWF. Change my mind.

Aint that the truth. I hope this MMR thing fixes it but at this point the game is making me want play swf.

I have more fun playing killer and swf too. As solo you can be a god and loose, because of a few megheads.

I'm not convinced it will make any difference, but hopefully it does.

You pretty much explained why I gave up on playing survivor completely outside of rift challenges.
As frustrating as killer is, at least you don't have to worry about carrying trash teammates constantly. Instant lobbies also helps
