I love pallet vaults

I love vaulting a pallet and basically being on the other side of it to where the killer shouldn’t be able to reach only to still get hit.

    That's latency and it's a pain.

Yeah i seen that happen on both sides. Like how the heck did i get that hit? In other cases it how the heck did they miss me? It a pain when it goes against you but godly when it benefits you.

Honestly, this is even worse when it does not look like you hit them on your screen as Killer, when you actually hit them. Or when it looks like a Hit on the Survivor Side and it was a miss. This shows how broken this hit detection is.

I think its part latency and part lingering hitbox to balance out people who camp dropped pallets on medium-tier loops. I think they should fix the latency issue and maybe make the pallet vault animation slower/change the animation so that the lingering hitbox hit make sense, since even on really good connections some pallet hits look bs.

Dedicated servers in DbD are the worst worldwide. Even in FPS games the servers are far more relient. But its not only latency, its almost bad hitboxes, which are poorly executed. And its just gets worse. Lately you can fast vault through windows, start running or already switching directions and still get hit afterwards.

Sadly latency is the problem, which essentially means on the absolute live second of the game it completely connected, just looked bad from your side.

When these things happen, just know if latency wasn't a thing, you absolutely still would have gotten hit. The game didn't kill you.

I agree, they said they fixed the stun u get after vaulting a window, but yet when I fast vault and start running my character still stands at the window for a second before they actually start running and up getting hit. That or I’ll vault the window and be far away enough to where the killer swings it should hit the rim of the window but it’s almost like the killer just fully leaned over the window and swung at me and hit.

I know latency is part of the issue but I feel hitboxes are the main big reason for some of the BS hits. There’s been so many times where I 360 and killer swings forward and I still get hit when I’m behind them already and their still facing forward, or when u dodge a huntress hatchet and it missed on ur screen but u still took a hit, like broken hit-boxes and latency issues don’t go well together.

This is literally my biggest hate on this game, and it happens to me about 90% of my games which is beyond a joke and to top it off I have hundreds of clips or vaulting windows and pallets and being hit the best of which was when I made it to the middle of a barn and got hit from the other side of a window the distance I was laying on the floor from the window was ridiculous. This was never an issue when it first came out so why has it become the biggest problem now? It's all we have to protect ourselves really and they need more survivors for the game to operate so I don't understand why everything that changes seems to be in the killers favour all the time.
