Anyway to counter this as killer?

I take around 30 seconds to find someone then I take 30 seconds to down them, I hook and I see 3 people all on gens with bbq and I go over to them and 3 gens pop. Any ideas how I can counter this? It’s been happening a lot now.

Down them faster. Not trolling but serious. A whole minute to find and down someone is alot of time wasted since most survivors will go straight for the closest gen. Corrupt intervention and whispers are both great perks to aid in the early game.

Also apply more pressure in the early game. If a chase is taking to long go find the other survivors and force them off gens.

Can’t do anything lol, gen speeds are too fast, u can delay it with perks but at least 2 of those 3 gens will pop

Don't worry too much about the first 3 gens. Your job isn't to stop them from doing ANY gens. Its to stop them from leaving. If the generators are on one side of the map, that's good for you. It shrinks the map. You want the map to shrink. Its only really an issue if the gens they're doing are scattered. The first gens are the easiest to do, the last gens should be the hardest. Had a game today where the first three gens popped fast, with only one down. Got my second hook and the fourth gen popped. But the last three gens were pretty close together. The situation was perfectly managable. I got my third hook, and things took off from there. I didn't panic. Eventually got one of them out of the game, and I just kept fighting for that last gen. Did they almost complete it? Yes. Did my obsession with OoO try to finish it in my face? Yes. Did I have STBFL? Yes. Did I laugh hard when I got a grab? Also Yes. Then I hung her, popped the gen, found Jake hiding, downed him, hooked him a third time. Chased the Claudette, downed her and it was game over. First four gens went very fast. I think a lot of killers panic when that happens. But if the gens are close together, its working in your favor. You can't always protect the early gens. Sometimes you've just gotta know when to let go.

It can't take a minute to down your first survivor. Not sure what killer you're using though. Different killers have different answers.

Also this. Games often start out rough for killers like @KingFrost said. But the game isn't over until their all out or dead.

Corrupt Intervention is your best friend.

I mean, if you play Legion and rush the survivors as soon as they spawn in this just doesn't happen. At the very least the time of the 3 gen pop is greatly delayed.

You cant but that does not matter, go after them now, stop the one going for the unhook, slug that one, go for the second going for the unhook.

It really depends on the killer. You need to let gens go if you play Trapper, for instance. That time has to be used to set up a kill zone.
