How to make 2 vs 8 mode

Let's say it right now, it is IMPOSSIBLE to balance a 2 vs 8 mode with every single perks that we have, the maps are too small for a 2 vs 8 and it would enver ever work in the version of the game we have now (dedicated servers, all the perks/add-ons and items)


So if we would ever see a 2 vs 8 mode it should be a prototype at first, a whole new map that is twice as big as the usual ones, the usual amount of loops but more unsafe loops etc etc, NO perk, NO add-ons, NO items, the only items survivors would find are in chest, making a 2 vs 8 mode keeping everything we have right now and addind it to this mode would destroy the balance in every single way, killers and survivors would be extremely overpowered, take 1 legion and another killer, give him all durations add-ons and give both killers thanatophobia and dying light, 8 x 4 = 32% slows and add every hooks, survivors will be unable to do gens (that is just an exemple of how bad the balance would be, yes it would be the same for survivors)


The best way to ever have a 2 vs 8 mode would be a complete vanilla version, no perks or add-ons or items (but chest)


I don't see any other way to ever have a 2 vs 8 mode, but i'd gladly play it if it ever happens.

    big maps are already a problem so bigger maps would cripple slow killers or killers with no mobility. I mean I guess one way it could work is have the game start as usual 1v4, but over time a survivor will spawn in. after a set time or when six survivors are on the map the second killer will be released and then the remaining survivors. but like you said it’s nearly impossible to balance a 2v8 so anyone’s idea is as good as yours. i’m sure it will happen eventually but for now even the devs have stated they’re not looking into that game mode for a long while.

    I've always supported 2vs8 or 2vs6 modes. Being able to team up with someone as killer instead of playing solo constantly would be fun.
