Can I get banned for using a guitar hero controller?
I want to play the game with a guitar hero controller for meme-ing with my friends but getting it to work on my PC requires me to use multiple programs for it to register inputs and actually connect to my PC. Is it possible for EAC to ban me for having these programs running and if so is there any way for me to get unbanned?

OhTofu did Billy games using a steering wheel so I imagine you would be fine.
Why you want to do this is beyond me though.

You're definitely fine from devs perspective and are more than likely fine from EAC. If EAC can't detect added crosshairs and in a lot of cases blatant cheating, you're good.

for memes, also after a lot of swf games I started to feel bad for the killers since I was in a group with a rank 1 and we were playing against killers that were like rank 20
