different disconnection penalties for killers

Hi,

Disconnection penalties have improved the attitude of every player. Very few players are DC'ing, and more players have started playing more seriously. There is 1 downside to the disconnection penalties, though. Killers can't DC if they are in annoying situations. Imagine this: a rank 14 killer plays against rank 4-8 survivors (happens from time to time). Every survivor uses clutch perks and they are just trolling around (with their flashlights), since they know the killer is too unexperienced to catch them. In those situations, the killer should be able to leave without consequences in my opinion. The killer gives the win to the survivors (which makes the DC'er the only loser) (If a survivor leaves, he gives the win to the killer, which means the other 3 survivors lose too).

On the other hand, if the killer sees survivors uses white wards/good items/escape cakes, the killer may NOT leave, since the survivors will lose their offerings/add-ons.

What do you think about this?

Dcing in general should be avoided. When I ready up I accept Moris, keys, tunneling, flashlight blinding, camping, genrushing, saboing, one hits, and slugging and great addons are a part of this game. If you can’t accept that why play? I heard civ 5 was more relaxing

I want everyone to have a nice time. I play in a clean way. I just don't like the survivors who think they are god. I don't care about tunneling/camping, though

Just afk. I go park in the corner of the map and leave the survivors to do whatever.

“Killers can't DC if they are in annoying situations” - Good.

If it isn’t okay for survivors to disconnect against sweaty or frustrating killers (which it isn’t), it isn’t okay for killers to disconnect against sweaty or frustrating survivors either.

It’s just one match. Play it out and move on to the next one.

DC penalties exist to prevent exactly that. Yes, sometimes you go up against people who are better than you or who employ unfun gameplay tactics and it sucks. But that happens in games. It's not good for the game (or for your character, for that matter) to let you quit halfway through just because it's not fun for you anymore. It's not the other players' fault if they're better at the game than you are, and they shouldn't be punished because of it.

But it's okay for survivors to suicide on the hook which pretty much is DC'ing because they don't like the killer, map, etc, but that's fair though, right? No. There needs to be an option for the killer to give up at a certain point, when there getting destroyed by sWFs 6-10 ranks better than them. Like I said, it's not fair to penalize the killer the way they do, because they can't just suicide on a hook and end the match, like survivors can if they don't like what's happening. Killers are stuck until the survs finish the gens, then they can at LEAST open the gate and start endgame. Its another clear example of how survivor sided ######### is.

i dont agree. but i do think you should be able to see the rank of your enemies before entering, also whether or not if they queued together.

that way i can leave the match before it starts if i end up playing versus people who are rank 4 when im rank 10. which happens somewhat often
