I'm Slowly Becoming a Legion Main

He used to be my lowest level killer at 18 or so and I only played him for dailys or to mess around and I never really tried anything with him before. I leveled him up recently for 50% BP farming since it's easy to get points and my god...I'm loving him after playing a lot of games with them.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think he's top tier by any means at all but boy do the majority of survivors mess up when you play against him.

Healing and self caring for days, wasted pallets as far as the eye can see and people that still don't know you can grab them out of lockers when he's in power. Blocking pallets and they just stare at you as their will to live slowly declines. Dc's a plenty and people just giving up in general. I'm Rank 1 killer and while I do get the rainbow group now and then I still see all reds making the same mistakes as well.

I'm mostly doing a more aggressive build with him. I'm using Pop for some slowdown, BBQ for points and switching it up with Nurses, Discordance, Enduring, Spirit Fury and Monitor.

I just can't stop!

Wow, you get a free hit with legion and then a free down with spirit fury? F tier killer, injuring the entire survivor team in the first 30 seconds of the game is terrible.

It's comments like this that make me love playing him all that much more. <3

I just want to point out how braindead and easy it is. There's plenty of other killers who are much worse, but keep playing legion.

Legion holds W to hit Survivors.

Survivors hold W to get away.

    It's a simple formula.

You can't avoid the first hit, without some ridiculous outplay like baiting him with sprint burst or a locker. It is literally like you are exposed the second he sees you. The fact people consider him weak is laughable.

Ok, so he injures you, then eats a Decisive Strike because that's all his power is, and now he's the most M1 Killer in the entire game.

    So hard to loop.

So what's your complaint then? He's OP? Normally when people complain a killer is braindead and easy it's about Billy. You get early hits with Legion and some map awareness and after that he's no different from any other standard killer. He can be looped for days and Spirit Fury is easily countered by dropping the pallet earlier.

Legion is not that great a killer but he is good at making people mad and getting them to screw up more than normal.

He is literally like a perma tier 3 myers, but you get a speed boost he can just match if he wants. Good legions will bodyblock you during the unfrenzy animation.

Billy is super easy as well, but at least you can dodge the chainsaw if you telegraph your moves and then make a juke.

Legion has no counterplay for the first hit. You have to bait him, which is a massive outplay, because he can just vault over pallets or window straight after you for it.

You are injured the second he sees you, or when he sees your team and you are nearby.

Then you throw on spirit fury / enduring , which is another borderline uncounterable perk set, and then brag you get kills with it?

I'm not bragging I'm getting kills. I'm saying Legion brings out survivors stupidity more than other killers and I'm having fun because of it. By all rights, I should not be winning all the games I have been. Survivors tend to do really stupid things when they go against Legion and it's pretty funny to watch.

Bodyblocking with Legion is very similar to Wraith Bodyblocking. Unless you're caught out in the open you can sometimes get to a window or the other side of the pallet as a survivor. If it's an unsafe pallet then you're dead anyway no matter what had happened. If you drop the pallet and he vaults over and cancels then just run around to the other side, you get plenty of time with the stun. You know what most people do though? They try to revault the pallet and just stand in your face or they just run in circles before going down. Hilarious to watch but definitely not the play.

Again, he does get easy early hits and then what? It's like going against Plague, don't overly heal and do gens and he's going to get destroyed because he is very loopable. Not only that but as long as the team stays apart like they should anyway, he'll never get more than one hit with his power in the first place. Heck even if you're in range, just running in a straight line away from him can get him to use all of his frenzy without getting a hit off. You know what most people tend to do though? They group up allowing easy chain hits, try to hide in bushes or lockers, and mend in your face or out in the open letting you get easy downs. All very bad ideas.

Spirit Fury/Enduring being borderline impossible to counter in what world? It's good for one surprise attack and then after you just drop pallets slightly earlier. The Perk combo is now dead to rights.

We seem to have very different opinions here on Legion. I think he's weak but fun while you think he's strong and braindead. I'm willing to debate more on this but it might be better for us to just agree to disagree as I don't think were going to find any common ground in each others opinions.

You can use the spirit fury enduring combo on every single survivor. Only those who see you have enduring, and then expect the possibility of spirit fury can "counter" it by dropping pallets early. But alot of people, including myself, run brutal along with that as well, so early pallet drops mean little as well.

You also discount the capability of the killer to snowball off a single hook by proxy camping. One shot killers are especially good at it, since if you catch anyone going for the save, pre 3+ gens done, you can slug them and camp out the kill for an easy win. A slug and a hook is plenty to hard/ face camp and still win the game unhindered. Borrowed time / DS won't even come into play with a one shot killer using that playstyle.

You also don't recognize how spirit fury can be built on one survivor and then used on another, offering absolutely no counterplay as they drop a pallet on you and then get murdered.

One thing I've noticed is that if a legion manages to get a hook in early and get everyone injured with deep wound a lot of players just seem to give up as they're too behind to get any real gen progress going.

I play all killers but Legion is one of the killers I can't really warm to. Will never be one of my mains.

It's not that anyone truly thinks Legion is OP. Yeah they're about as OP as the average killer, they're all supposed to be OP in a sense.

Their gameplay is boring to play against. Really tough to bait out a stun or a whiff to any half-decent Legion. And Legion has the speed to quickly make up for the stun duration they receive after Frenzy ends. They can just keep Frenzy pressure on you while they hook a survivor, rinse repeat.

Generators don't get done not because they made survivors run all the way to the other side of the map, but because survivors have to sit down and mend themselves constantly. And what Legion would go into Frenzy on an already injured player? That's just stupid, so a survivor has to heal to full just to keep themselves in the game and not on the hook. It wastes time for everyone, and that's unfortunately Legion's whole gimmick. It turns the game from cat & mouse to medkit simulator

Legion is my main, with a good build you can keep pressure, chase and hook. 👏🏼
