Add maps with water. Rivers, streams, ponds etc

I think water is too rare in DBD maps.

Adding ponds or smth would be fun.

Pro:

Survivors can dive inside and hide.

Con:

Slows survivors down, but not killers.

It'll add more fun to the game!

Honestly yes please. Add map hazards and dynamic portions to maps. Small lakes/ponds of marshes that are loud and slow survivors with very strong loops in them (also should deplete a dying survivors bleed out timer 3x as fast and create noise cues). Things that injure survivors and slow killers, like a live wire on the game map that if stepped on electrocutes the player. A small boiler room in an indoor map with a chest/two chests that has to be risked getting injured by boiling steam to gain access to. A cliff or building so large that if leaped off of without balanced landing or lightweight, injures the player and slows the killer. Garbage bins for survivors to hide in that act as lockers.

    Small odd things like that.

I'd love for there to be more variety between maps. Stuff like this would be awesome

I would be up for this just as long as killers dont look silly while traversing through the water. Imagine a michael swimming at full speed michael Phillips at you lol.

To one-up that idea - how about a map where you start knee deep in water, which slows survivors down a bit (but not too much, to not make the killer OP). Each time a gen is completed, some of the water drains out. If you fail a skillcheck on a gen, sparks hit the water and stun you for 5s, for example. All of this would have to be heavily balanced, obviously, but I think it would be really fun, and break the boring gen repairs.

can you imagine how bad it would look in this game? have you seen the graphics? these devs would not ber able to make that look even remotely good.

Not a lake, but a flooded floor should be nice. No changes to gameplay at all, just a special noise when stepping on, and splashing.

Or in Ormond a frozen lake where survivors and killers slip as hell. Funny.

I love it, except that I don’t want any swimming in dbd. Waist deep at the highest so that it’s all wading. They could do waterfalls that could be hid behind, that would be fun.
