Positive messages after game
So theres a million threads describing salty hate post game chats, i figured I'd make a post about the opposite
Doing kill 4 by any means necessary as spirit. I hate playing spirit and am horrible as her. Also rank 12 killer. Brought devour hope, haunted grounds, bbq and whispers. Used prayer beeds and green slippers and an eboni mori. Got dead dog saloon.
Had a very rough start, again I suck with spirit. But then haunted grounds hit and i downed and hooked 2. I spread the love around as their was only 1 nea that managed to lose me constantly as a 110 killer with pretty much no power in chase lol. Eventually down to 2 gens and everyone was hooked at least once. Most twice. Had 5 stacks on devour and started killing people. Last gen popped i killed a David. Got lucky on door spawns and whispers led my to nea. Had a little chase and actually played a pallet well. Killed her. Was so excited. Thought id never get that challenge done.
Messeged nea, sorry challenge or I'd have let you go. To be fair devour had 5 stacks before i started killing
She replied. No worries you played well.
Saw she was rank 1. I said thanks for not being toxic about the mori. And I've never beat a rank 1 before
She replied, lol well you deserved it. GG and well played.
I said thanks.
I was expecting hate or something but nea was nice. It actually made the game just better to hear positivity.
So what are your positive messeges you've gotten or sent?

Me and this Huntress had a match, I'd say about a month ago.
This Huntress was Rank 10, my team mates were also green ranks but I was rank 1.
I end up dying at the end, we got a gen or two done but she found hatch first and wasn't much I could do after a bit of unlucky door spawns, aswell as the fact she could hit me from 20m away if she saw me.
Started with a gg wp, before laughing about how matchmaking is broken, and now we train with each other on loops most days a week for about an hour.

I had a game maybe a week or so ago as Doctor on the new Saloon map. One of the Survivors had used a Map Offering for it, poor bastard.
I ended up mostly stomping but for the last guy standing, I figured I'd show mercy, seeing as they'd gotten very unlucky with the map + killer combination, I enjoyed the match and they generally played well- Even if they hadn't been able to find the hatch in the fair amount of time they were the last one standing. I smack them, bring them over to a hook, shake "no", then stomp off with them round the back of the saloon looking for the hatch.
I make an entire lap around the map not being able to find the thing, even checking the 2nd floor of the saloon in desperation (even though hatches obviously are on ground level) and eventually manage to figure out that it was hiding underneath the noose platform in the center of the map. Just as I'm done in postgame chat gging and mentioning "oh, and sorry for that map + killer combo, you guys got super unlucky" it turns out one of the other Survivors had been spectating that entire time and was laughing about the hatch location.
The other guy on my back also had no idea where the hatch was (despite that hatch technically being in open view, all 3 of us totally missed it) and the three of us laughed about it for a little while in postgame chat.

Oh man, I am super stoked this thread exists!
I'd say 2 out of 3 matches I get at least one message on xbox from the survivors I just played against. Here are the best ones from recent encounters that all spawned decent conversations.
"Please stop playing Huntress. I mean it. Give the rest of us a chance!"
"GG...we were EZ"
"Can you teach me how to Spirit like that?"
"The plague? Who the **** plays Plague? What? Damn. How? Why?"
And finally, a particularly toxic Meg who teabagged the whole match but I death hooked as exits opened,
"If I hadn't been bagging this would have been different. My bad"
Honestly, the majority of my messages weren't positive, however. Playing Spirit over the weekend for the first time, I received everything from death threats to all manner of name-calling. Did really poorly my first time out with Spirit and EVERY survivor felt the need to mention how much of a noob I was instead of just taking their win and moving on. After my first 4k with her a few hours later, someone threatened to find me and kill me and my family. Awesome.
So its great to see and publicize the positivity out there. I am hoping to see more as I continue playing.

I've frequently been surprised by the nice messages I've received from survivors after playing really dirty for challenges. Unfortunately I can't remember any of my conversations in detail now, but I'm going to bookmark this thread so I can come back and post the next time I have one 😊

I usually compliment every good Nurse after a match. It requires much skill to play her now and people who can play her without Add-Ons earn my respect.

I say gg in every match as long as it wasn't a bully fest.

I wish chat was available on console, I understand why it's not (I have a keyboard, but I know most likely don't), just wish that it was.

Just got out of a game playing Ghostface on Lery's. Rank 2
Three of the survs were actually the most boosted people alive. I swear, they must have been playing with their monitors off. But the last guy not only broke me out of stealth often, but was also really good at loops. At the end, I found the hatch first, closed it, and was patrolling the doors for the last guy.
He was jumping in and out of a locker, so I would find and kill him. Instead, in recognition of his skill, I led him to the door, but he refused to open it.
In the post game chat, he said
"Bro, fastest sneak in the west, gg"
