Hatch Problems

I have no idea if any other person has had this problem, but I was just playing a game on the saloon and it was a hatch game, I was playing against a Doctor, and standing in the dead center of the hatch then he closed it standing off to the side of it. Is this normal, or did I just find a legitimate bug in the game.

    Survivor's hitbox is smaller than hatch's prompt to get closed. So yeah this COULD happen.
