Why it take so long to do this?
Why does it take ages to find game as killer (idk about survivor)?

i haven't really noticed any long waiting times for killer as of right now. then again, i'm currently in "green ranks", so i may not see it as much.
it's also currently 4:45 in the morning, though, so that could be part of it too. :'D

Its been better since they fixed the swf bug so now its better but it still takes like 10 to like 5 minute cue where as when im survivor and im just solo queuing it is lightning fast. Also what rank are you cause usually high rank killer cues are like the longest in the game.

I've noticed, that (for me) during the day till like 7 pm my survivor ques are super fast while killer are long. After 7 pm its reversed, killer is fast, survivor slow.

This is my situation:
During the morning/afternoon --> Instant games as survivor, takes a while for the killer.
During the evening/night --> Instant games as killer, 10+ minutes queues for survivor.
I'm on PS4 (EU).

As others have observed, queue times vary, but if you're getting long killer queues, the simple answer is because more than 20% of the players in your region are playing killer. For ideal matchmaking, you want a 1:4, or 20/80, killer to survivor ratio. Anything more than that, on either side, and you get lengthened queue times, because more people are looking for opponents than there are opponents to match with them.
