I'm trying to get where you're coming from, and I understand wanting to start a discussion. With that being said, removing Claudette's face because it creates an opportunity for people to be racist would be like removing end game chat because it allows people an opportunity to be racist. Acting racist is already punishable regardless if you are using Leatherface to act out blackface or dropping racial slurs in the endgame chat. I get why it can be offensive though and I'm sorry you had to deal with a racist jack wagon.

On the forums, that's still 4-5 out of hundreds of people.
Still kinda in the minority there.
I'm not sure about the actual black players count either, but my guess is that there's more than enough colored people playing who don't care.
And your guess is as good as mine.
The only ones who can actually know an average would be the devs, who ask for ethnicity in surveys.
I also don't see how a more diverse playerbase would help identify.
Y'know, i don't see the players with ill intent suddenly go: "There's a lot of different kinds of people playing this game, better take off my Claudette face."

I do not honestly believe the OP intends for an honest and open discussion on the issue since they're deliberately ignoring sound discussion by many of the posters here.
I guess the original intent was successful even though the original post had nothing to do with the actual intent of the individual...

I've read your previous responses... You are literally making a claim that Leatherface wearing a black girl's face is racist because of visuals ALONE. You are completely ignoring the rest of my and many others' posts about CONTEXT.
Let me ask you this, if an Asian, Indian, or Hispanic killer was wearing a black girl's face, would that be racist to you?
How about this, since you're using history as justification.
If a black killer was wearing a White, Asian, or Indian face, do you believe the Whites, Asians, and Indians have the same amount of justification to rant like you're doing?

Still, that's only 2, over 3 years.
Still very little.
And yes, it matters cause this is different than a country allowing gay people to marry.
This is a business wanting loads of players and cash to keep it running, grow big, feed families etc.
If, like you say, black are in a (vast) minority here, and they were to remove a face for ethnicity reasons, there's gonna be so many complaints to the devs for simply taking away one of their cosmetics for such a reason.
And then there will most likely be a new fear of more cosmetics being taken away, including ones that are paid for instead of earned.
Even if they'd get a return of Auric Cells, they would still be forced to give up a cosmetic they like without getting their (actual) money back.
Removing it for the very few who are upset by it seems very impractical from a business standpoint.

You say this multiple times. As if it would be completely out of the realm of possibility for a white person to be the victim of anything racist.
Basically you are saying that because leatherface can wear Claudettes face and it offends you then its racist. But if the opposite were true and a white person were offended then its ok.
That screams of hypocrisy my friend.
Also, your argument about how no black person would be offended if they took the feature out is bias speculation at best. Much like i can't speak for the entire population of Native Americans, you can not speak for the entire population of blacks.
I'm sorry the feature upsets you and that there are ignorant people in the world who do stupid stuff. This feature isn't racist. It's part of the history of the killer.

So your entire claim on "Blackface" Leatherface being racist is dependent on you and "many" others being triggered. Ok so, why exactly does "Blackface" Leatherface trigger you so much?
And before you say "It's because of historical reasons!". You can't say that. Why? Because you denied and ignored many other posts giving you context of why Leatherface is wearing the face, but all you said was "it's a Blackface, it's racist!". You do not want a discussion. You want an echo chamber. Several very legitimate and very true points have been made, people have tried to be polite, and yes some people are a little angry, but its unrealistic to expect civility when most don't like it when someone casually infers they and their family are racist apropos of nothing resembling evidence. Instead of engaging in this 'discussion' you so desperately want, you ignore valid points that don't line up with your view and back handedly insult people.
A discussion, a REAL discussion, requires that parties genuinely make an attempt to see something from both sides long enough to compare them in order to make an informed decision. You have no desire to do this, instead you dismiss, ignore, insult and throw away very valid points as 'strawman'.
I'm not going to engage you in a discussion, you do not want one, you want people to agree with you. Or you are indeed, as suspected by many, a troll. It's rare, but on this one occasion I hope that its the latter, because it is hard to believe someone is being so intentionally insensitive while they preach sensitivity on a trivial matter.
After 38 years on this planet, I don't need a random stranger on the internet to decide if I'm racist or not. I am fully aware of who and what I am and no argument you can throw at me, will ever convince me I'm a racist simply because I don't agree with you.

I wore her face proudly until i got the prestige face. She's usually the hardest survivor to find because of all the brown and dark clothes people put on her. Blendette's face was a well earned trophy. If it bothers you that much then you just might be a super sensitive snowflake and should quit playing.

leatherface wears the face of his victims. In the movies you probably don’t see him wearing a face with darker skin because that was not necessary to show. LF does not care about the skin tone. I am pretty sure the license-holders agreed to the cosmetics in-game and did not see it as racist also.
you really are going too far with you accusations and assumptions. If someone was saying it’s not okay for white killers to kill black survivors in this game because that’s racist you would hopefully see that this claim does not make sense at all, right?
