Survivor too easy?
so i played survivor for a solid 4 hours today as i had alot of free time, i played on lots of different maps and against alot of killers with various addons/offerings. Within this time it is so obvious that if you have a team that isnt afraid to do gens and has at least some knowledge of how loops work then its pretty much GG and an easy win? the only time this game because difficult is when you get people never touching gens or all go down within a few seconds which kinda shows the balance really is off... while some people may say its not i can honestly say (for me) survivor is so very easy and all it requires is people to do gens and i can understand why a 4man meta perk team is pretty pointless going against. i do hope they fix the ranking so only skilled players get to red ranks and when that happens i feel everyone will understand how brokenly easy the game is

I have to assume it's intended that the game is how it is and I don't expect that the situation will change. Such a waste, as DbD always had great potential to be so much more than an unbalanced party game.

Yeah, hopefully if enough killers stop playing the game Behavior will have the choice of either fixing gen speeds/making a SWF UI or letting the game die

people say its bait because they either arent a high skilled player or just cant admit it, but im not gonna lie about how easy survivor is when your team actually does gens. But not only that if the game requires people not to do their objective to be balanced then thats a big damn issue, i dont care about escaping or finishing every gen i want a game thats lengthy and fun for everyone instead of at the cost of other peoples fun.

Survivor is ez mode yes, its just far more relaxed in every way:
Dont like how the match is going? Die on the hook
Actually get caught after an intense chase in which atleast a gen got done? time to relax on the hook, catch your breath a bit.
Killer meanwhile has to sweat it out from start to finish or just give up and sit in the basement and HOPE survivors will do gens quick so you dont waste too much time + the risk of being banned for "afk'ing" too much.

I don't really know if survivor is easier because matchmaking makes it hard for me to make a comparison. When I play solo survivor, I get killers closer to my rank, but when I play killer, I get entire squads 10 ranks ahead of me. So, at the moment, trying to learn killer as a new player is super stressful compared to survivor.
If matchmaking was better, I think killer would be really fun.

Killer can be fun, however if you learn both roles to a high skill level you soon learn that survivor is easier. i play both sides and am rank 1 for both but when you go against a team that always sit on gens and just do gens there isnt much a killer can do, iv had games where i down survivors within 20seconds every chase and still lose because of how fast gens went and then iv had survivor games with the exact same result, my last game against a rank 1 doctor got 3hooks before all the gens got done? at high skill when a full team does their objective then like i said its pretty much GG even more so with meta perks

Survivor is 100% percent easier for me at the moment. I just wish as killer I could actually play with people around my rank. A rank 16 killer playing clown means those red and purple survivors constantly matched against me can just chill and still win lol.

Only SWF is easy. If you win playing solo it's an accomplishment.

its easy when your team do gens even if youre solo, its just when you do solo you get games where no one does gens and thats what my post is about, like how is it balanced when it requires survivors not to do their only damn objective haha

Survivor's difficulty comes from things outside of your control.
It's a 1v4, and no that's not 1 killer vs 4 survivors. It's you vs 1 killer and 3 survivors because some of the stuff your teammates do is just so extremely appalling. I played a red rank game on cronus pren and 2 people were in the main building on separate floors both self caring while I was on the hook and came AFTER I hit second stage AGAINST LEGION SLOPPY BUTCHER.
