I know people will brush off this post saying I got the 4k but ######### that's such bad matchmaking.

    Devs have already stated they’re working on a new matchmaking system with hidden ranking that should fix this.

    We just don’t know how long it will take.

    I agree with both things you said:

    -Screwed MMing

    -got the 4k anyway

    I know people from rank 20 are generally gonna be not as good as people from rank 1, but I can't count the amount of times I've had somebody ######### talk me purely because of my rank. Even if they did something really stupid that I pointed out, it wouldn't matter because "why are you even talking? you're rank 15" or whatever.

    I'm a strong believer that people put too much emphasis on rank on this game, and use rank solely to determine whether somebody can have an opinion or not. It really isn't like that.

    I took a break from playing because of the ruin changes but my friend brought me back in and I got ######### by rank reset and I'm slogging through the low ranks back to purple even though I've smurfed because I kept getting red ranks and didn't enjoy the game so I smurfed a few ranks before but I'm going back through the ranks.

    That's the thing: stuff like what happened to you happens. You take a break and come back after a few resets, or you just don't play that often or whatever, and then you gotta slog through the ranks. One or two pips at a time. And it's crazy how many people just disregard something like that, and just be like "you're low rank you can't talk." Even on the forums I've seen it here and there.

    "You're a low rank and I you camped" as their buddies all circle the hook I've had that happen am I supposed to go into the corner? And ignore the rescued survivor when their buddy hides and I can hear them?
