My Hope - Part 2: Turns Out Devs Do Play Their Own Game
Hey y'all,
Remember when I made a post a few months back when ruin got changed and everyone was heated about it (probably not)? Well anyway, I said my hope was the devs would use the data from it to make better improvements down the line and it looks like it turned out to be true!
Huge, huge thank you to all the devs for the hard work put into this update. As much as everyone enjoys killer reworks, the shift in focus to overall health improvements for the game is long overdue and very much welcomed. It doesn't matter how fun a new killer or killer rework is if the tiles are too strong, the maps are too big, and the gens are too fast.
So thank you, devs! Thank you so much! This update might be the best one yet!
P.S. And thank you for the controller sensitivity changes. Maybe now I can finally play Nurse on console.

I imagine they do understand the struggles that this game has, but because of how game development works, they have to wait before they can show their fanbase that they do understand.
I can imagine a BHVR dev sat at work reading people saying they don't play their game because they haven't reduced map sizes, and just thinking "######### we're working on that right now" but I digress.
But it is great that they were listening to all the feedback/angry complaints that came through about map size! Thank you developers!

what i din't like is that in the previous update thay took survivor side, seems like it was just small talk to prepare the bigger and needed change

People were pissed because they asking, "#########, why would you need ruin without addressing why people ran it" but when you compare this mid-chapter from the last one it makes sense. They needed to change ruin first to streamline gen repair speeds since Ruin affected data too much, and then they could make gen speed changes from there.
