Toggle Dedicated Servers
I’m gonna be completely honest upfront. I know hardly anything about Networking in Unreal Engine so I have no clue how doable this is but an amazing feature in my personal opinion would to have the option of opting in or out of dedicated servers. Having a consistent 53 ping and still lagging back to a window just to get hit isn’t particularly fun. The only real upsides of dedicated servers are in my opinion, the D/C penalties, the possibility of cross-save and no more lagswitching but with people using VPNs it’s still essentially there.

Dedicated servers are fine.

Yes, they are "fine". :)

All you look at is the bad. If you would think about all the benefits of dedicated servers you would understand that they aren't as bad as you think.

While I also think that Dedicated Servers are a big fail and should be scrapped or postponed (in my opinion, if anything will kill this game, Dedicated Servers will do), opting in or out of Dedicated Servers will be bad.
You will split the number of players, meaning that there will be longer Queue Times. And this is something which should be avoided.

And how often does this happen to you? It happened to me twice. I had really worse experiences in the p2p hosting.

Happens very often, happens to all my friends too, it's not just me. Happens the most in North America especially on West Coast servers because we still don't have a ping indicator showing what ping the killer has so most of the time I get matched up with someone from China or Europe.

I think it might be a problem with the us servers. In Europe, or at least to me and my friends, dedicated servers were a big improvement.
