Rank System PS4

G'day I'm new to this forum and honestly pretty new to Dbd I've got like 40 - 50 hours max into it since 2 week's ago and I've somehow made it to Rank 1 and I'm sticking there for now, but I'm having serious trouble vsing red rank killers. But if I end up getting a green or a purple killer it's not that much of a challenge at all but as soon as a red rank it feels almost impossible to escape. I don't feel like I deserve R1 even though I some how got there like I'm not the worst survivor I can 360, moonwalk, loop, hit great skillchecks 90% of the time and have a good understanding of the perks for only 2 week's of playing but I just don't have the map or the killer experience to win against certain killers and in certain maps. I just don't think I should've gotten into rank 1 so easily and now that I'm going against my rank I'm getting crushed. Should I derank, just suck it up and try to get better in my rank, uninstall, play killer to get into the head of both. I just don't see how my 50 hours is going to win against killers who have piled up 1000s of hours into this game.

Ps4 with red ranks its rng you could get boosted player 5000 who doesnt know how to hit a skillcheck even. And then you get the gods like me and others who will 360 loop flick and tech you lol.

Don't derank, you're not going to improve by constantly playing and winning against worse players. Playing both roles is a good way to get better at the game as you can get into the mindset of the other side. It'll also help you understand what the limitations of different killers are and how to play around their powers.

While playing as killer you may also learn a few tricks from the survivors you verse which you could try to integrate into your gameplay (and vice-versa of course).

Naturally you're not going to have easy wins against players who've played way more and are far more experienced than you are. You just gotta have to suck it up.

There should be quite a few guides on how to play either role on the internet, check them out (here on the forums, Steam forums, YouTube or whatever).

What I personally like to do is record my own gemplay and watch it back to analyze it and see if I can find things to improve on in future games. There are also a couple of content creators who accept gameplay submissions to help people improve at the game.

Forum members might also be willing to share advice though without knowing what you struggle with specifically that'd be quite hard.

I appreciate the serious comment cheers, and I reckon what you're saying is right. The thing is I don't like easy wins there's 0 fun in playing against a killer that doesn't know what they're doing but then theirs also 0 fun in toxic killers with ebony moris and op addons and mess around vsing noob survivors. But yeah ur right I'm just gonna have to suck it up and play based around what you've said so cheers
