Can someone explain what does this mean
"When all remaining Survivors in a trial hit the Struggle phase on the hook, the Entity will instantly drain their remaining life bar."
I'm not really following. This means that, once the killer hooks everyone once, they will die instantly on their next hook? Or that survivors will no longer hit second phase when not saved, they will die instantly?

Not sure if you are referring to when just one survivor is left. If that is the case, then yes. The last survivor left, when hooked, instantly depletes the bar.

Or perhaps it is referring to the fact that once you hit struggle phase. Regardless of how much struggle you had left when saved, you are still on death hook next. No more struggle.

Basically when everyone is in struggle and nobody can possibly free themselves, it skips everyone straight to the sacrifice stage (much like when you hook the last survivor) so you aren't waiting around for a minute doing nothing and waiting for them to die. It won't change the actual gameplay, it'll just end the game when you can't possibly survive.

Do you still get struggle points?
1 -
Oh, I get it now! It's a really useful change. Thanks for the answer :D

Well, then give Struggle Points. Personally I dont care that much, but when something like a Bloodhunt is going on, those 800-something points are not that bad, combined with a BPS, the event and WGLF.
EDIT: Also - when someone is on their first hook while the other Survivors are either dead or hooked (second stage), can the person on the first hook still try to get free?

Quick question on the topic of struggle if your running the one steve perk in struggle state can you stop mashing space or will it still kill you? (Camaraderie)

My points :(
But thank you for the answer lol

But I am doing something, I am trying to find the hatch so I can close it as soon as only one is left.

Well, you lose your 250 points for closing the Hatch (if you did not max out on Deviousness anyway), while the Survivor loses almost 900 points in the category which will 100% not be maxed when he is sacrificed.

Why was this in need of a change? You're eliminating as much as 800 points to "save time" in a game filled with ways to extend the match. At that point, what's another minute? Especially since it allows The Killer to also get points by breaking pallets and even closing the Hatch. If anything, the last Survivor should also be able to struggle to the last drop for those points.

Oh my god people it's 800 bloodpoints. Cleanse a damn totem instead.
Lets be honest though, the only reason people struggle at the end is to BM the killer and waste their time. I cannot possibly believe that so many people care about 800 bloodpoints....

Filled with ways to extend the match, like...?

I’m okay with the change but I agree that that time was used to break pallets, kick gens, close hatch, and spam my power for points.

In reference to the many slow-down perks and add-ons. It's an unnecessary change, was anyone complaining about the extra 60s?
0 -
You really think people struggle to BM? lol In both roles, people just want more points. You have to take people at their word unless you can prove otherwise. As The Killer, I usually do a few last minute things for extra points or I just read the incoming hate mail from that Trial lol

It means exactly what it says.. if ALL remaining survivors are in their struggle phase on the hook, they die immediately. It just means you can’t struggle for extra points now if everyone is going to die anyways.

You mean the perks that were almost used every match BECAUSE of gen speeds?
0 -
Don't get it twisted and sidetracked. My point was very narrow, what's another 60s in a game with many ways to prolong it?! I have np with slow down perks, but I don't see the need to get rid of the Struggle phase of the Sacrificial Sequence to "save time."

Honestly if you could get that many normally and the game just ends it, it should be awarded. (if last survivor that isn't the case so no award there) this also allows the killer to close the hatch, get the 250 and the survivors in struggle to get the 250 points of pressure. that really is a cheat to rob people of potential points, sure that won't be a node on the blood web but it might bring them up to the point of getting an extra one with the points in the game. I will honestly say this change is actually a bad idea because now it will futher encourage the slugging that happens now.

There is no reason the killer should be forced to waste a minute of time or more while a survivor mashes spacebar repeatedly for the purpose of bloodpoints.

Will there ever be a change to when you're the last survivor, and on your FIRST hook, to get the opportunity to free yourself? This is the main reason why I don't run deliverance, because if I don't get hooked all game till I'm the last one, I don't even get the chance to use my perk. I get that if you're in struggle phase, you should just die, but first hook? Maybe to reduce the trolling, make it so the game forces you to attempt an escape instead of not acting and wasting the killers time.

Waste? It's not a waste for me when I'm The Killer. I don't mind the opportunity to earn some extra points in the process. With that logic, the entire game is a waste of time. I just never viewed it as BM.

I would consider a point in time where no player in the game is doing anything to further their objective a waste of time.
I don't play this game to see the pretty bloodpoint counter go up, I'd be playing an idle mobile game if that where what I where after. I'm here to play with and against people. To interact with, outsmart, and be outsmarted. Walking around kicking any gens that aren't regressing, and any pallets that where still in the dropped state, and maybe stomping on the hatch? Literally mashing my spacebar without paying any attention to what's happening on screen? There's no winning or losing to that. I'm not getting anything from it but imaginary bloodpoints. I'm not getting better at the game, or doing anything to try to out-think or out-play someone.
If this where such a concern, where where you before this change. Where you saying that when the last survivor is hooked, they should go through the full timer as normal? Did you find it outrageous that they wouldn't get their struggle bloodpoints (which where only recently added to the game) then?
1 -
It helps both sides to struggle and do last minute things lol. Even as a killer if I’m just waiting I don’t mind running around or trying to find pallets. Blood points are one of the few things most sides agree on in this game devs, we all want more points lol.

That's your opinion and how you play but newsflash it's a BIG world out there and not everyone plays a game for the same reasons as you. If you find struggling a waste of your time, let go but the option is now eliminated for those that want to. There are people that love BPs, and go out of their way to get as much as possible per Trial. I don't see anything wrong with that.
What's advanced with this change? Potentially shaving a minute off at the end? It just doesn't seem like a worthy trade-off imo. While playing both roles, I almost always struggle and do stuff like close the Hatch during struggle phase. On your question, yes I do think the last Survivor should be able to attempt to escape or use Deliverance and fully struggle. However it's not something I ever felt strongly enough about to advocate over.

What points? As killer, I break pallets as I go. Hatch is 250 points which I don't lose sleep over. Once hatch is kicked, can't kick gens. I'd rather get into another game.
1 -
That's what you do but sometimes people decide not to break pallets as they go. I understand some people want to get out faster, Survivors have that freedom but I just never saw any complaints from Killers about the struggle phase. Everyone I see uses the time to earn points or hit you. Yes including tasks like kicking generators, closing the Hatch, breaking pallets. People do what they want. I think a more pressing time sink is being held hostage to the match to bleed out for four minutes, let me accelerate my death so I can move on.

Can someone link me to the most recent content and features page? I cannot for the life of me find the page where it explains the new changes (this new struggle cancellation one for example)

You're greatly over estimating the manners of the community if you think people wouldn't struggle to just BM lol. A lot of people don't find the small amount of bloodpoints you get for wasting 60secs mashing a button worth it, especially given queue times to get into a match in the first place.
You have to take people at their word unless you can prove otherwise :)
