So killing ruin was okay but killing god loops isnt?
Sorry if as a killer i don't like being run through the same infinite by all survivors because they all know them by this point. Ruin was killed to look at gen speed and big surprise it was a problem. But what did survivors say again? "Get good and apply pressure" you can still loop without your god loops so guess its your turn. Obviously if these end up being completely useless the devs will fix it thats the point of the ptb. The problem with ruin was they didnt fix gen speed while reworking it so we got the era of genrush. (And before you say killer main i play 50/50 rank 1 survivor and rank 8 killer) i personally hate the us vs them mentality but theres been a lot of it lately.

I dont think anybody is saying killing god loops is an issue.
What people are saying is that killers have got a lot of what they wanted the past year. Toolboxes nerfed, god loops fixed, maps shrunk, instaheals nerfed.
Thats all great. It makes killer more enjoyable.
However now maybe something has to be done for survivor. Camp/tunnel:noed strategy needs to go. Its used in the vast majority of games and ruins the experience for many people. Likewise some killer add ons could be nerfed just like instaheals were (looking at you iri head + infantry belt)

Ruin is not dead. I prefer the new ruin as it saves me a TON of time. No need to kick gens, just keep pressuring them and I get rewarded. Seriously, it disappears no faster than old ruin, but it heavily rewards me for choosing to pressure a gen as opposed to focusing on one survivor.
As for the new changes, I think they are pretty healthy for the game.

I like new ruin as well the problem was it promoted genrush because why get off a gen itll regress if you do.

Why nerf iri heads? Honestly, pink addons should be powerful, and if survs can juke, than the addon is worthless.
If I were to change iri heads in anyway, I would make it so you could only reload from certain lockers

As a killer main, I never really had a problem with insta heals.

I really dont know why it bothers me about Iri Head + Infantry Belt especially since I only see bad Huntress's use it anyways. I would like to see it only apply at 24 meters and more though to work with her trophy.
Removing god loops and fixing maps is honestly the best direction this game has taken in awhile. Camping and Tunneling will always be a thing. It is in every game, but NoeD is trash and should be removed completely. It's a good strong perk with legitimate uses and strong counter play. The issue is I only see bad players use it. How many times have you outplayed a killer as a solo or team only for them to get a few kills because of NoeD. Like seriously the perks a joke. Survivors are punished for doing well and killer is rewarded for clearly failing. Sometimes people can't find that 5th dull totem.
NoeD is in the same spot Adrenaline is when you are slugged as the 4th Survivor and killer closes hatch to start EGC. It's a good luck hope it works out situations.

Noed is funny because its like old ruin survivors couldnt hit skillchecks or find the totem. Noed you need to hope your team cleanses all 5. Like i think i cleansed all but one one time and hoped the others had found the last one absolutely destroy the killer then get noeded at the end and killer gets a 3k. Totem was in the very corner of the swamp map behind a rock.

I personally think Mori's and Key's should be looked at next with Moris being the main one. Keys tend to only annoy me if I have a decent 3-gen of some kind and the 3 survivors left decide to peace out.
Camping and Tunneling depends on the circumstances. 5 gens left and you facecamp the first guy you find, yes that should change no argument. Camping someone because they're a couple seconds away from 2nd state or the doors are open I think are fine. Same thing with tunneling. Leaving a chase to go after the unhooked person is bad, happening to find the unhooked guy first is fine or even if the unhooker is gone or at a safer loop.
Noed I disagree on. No one likes losing the game because they got Noed'd but with all various perks survivors have to help with totems, I think it is in a fine place. You can normally tell a Noed gamer anyway just with how they play.
From there, some add-ons should definitely be looked at (I agree with an Iri head nerf) and various perks on both sides should be updated to not be 100% worthless.

Not really I just have come down to saying
NoeD is a good perk, Used by bad players.
Most people who use it tend to solely rely on it to win games that they honestly don't deserve to win.
I get what you mean though.

If you nerf Noed nerf Adrenline. Noed has a damn counter you do the bones. Adrenline has no counter. Yes most people who use Noed tend to suck but its in survivors hands on whether it activates.

Kinda sucks for solo survivors like i said when i cleaned 4 totems and literally just hoped the other survivors got 1 totem. And nope get noeded because the totem was in the corner of the swamp behind a rock. No other surivors cleansed totems but me. (They were all red ranks as well as me)

Instaheals were complete bs. You lose all progress on a chase cause someone heals in your face or heals the downed person. A team of person using that pretty much negates your progress. Iri heas tho i agree it needs changed or just make it not stack with infantry belt.

I understand what you are saying. Im in that same situation alot. Sometimes i run small game or detectives hunch to find the totems. But unlike survivors 2nd chance perks minus ds it has a counter to it.

Adrenaline has a counter, just kill them before they get gennys done.

Its also funny when i down a survivor the gen pops then they get up by adrenaline and i just smack them again and put them on the hook.

I think killers got a lot this year because they were in desperate need of it. It is no fun to play killer anymore. Look at the MM. There's a shortage in homicidal maniacs on this game. Not including some of the crazy survivor mains :P

I wouldn't mind making it not stack with the belt to give extra hatchets. One shot before reload. I think that's fair.

I agree that camping and tunneling are a big problem that needs to be looked at, but I disagree that NoEd is a problem. It has an easy counter that many survivors choose to ignore.

Because the gen speeds were out of control and there actually were infinites for some killers? I imagine you believe DS and SWF is balanced.

They mean iri head and infantry belt, not just iri head. Iri head alone is pretty balanced.

Would it be worthwhile to make the two perks activate with the Endgame Collapse rather than the completion of generators? Doesn't fix the issue of activating with the Hatch closing, but the killer then gets NOED to compensate if they have it.

It doesnt promote gen rush(valid strat by the way). It promote killer to actually defend gens instead of complaining that he lost. Big maps are in rework phase dont worry.

Yeah except camping leads to a loss for the killer. And I highly doubt you’re using the word Tunnel correctly. You can also EASILY remove NOED.
There is no way you’re a Rank 1 survivor and complaining about these things.

Translation: I'm a red rank killer that's bested by a survivor. Since I'm not smart enough to go after an easier target, I keep allowing myself to be looped by the more skilled survivor while the other do gens.

Nope i change targets and guess what the next survivor heads right to the loop because they know how godly the loops are any decent survivor team knows to go for those loops. So what do i chase noone?

Dont forget after the insta heal nerf a lot of killer got nerf i think from september until now its was only the killer who got nerf and it hurt the game with the new lobby simulator

Seriously, this is what I don't get about people who are just like "just chase someone else!"
What if THEY run straight to that loop? What if the third person does? What if the forth does? They just act like the other survivors won't go there if smart.

I think they're on a good way now balance-wise. Please don't stop there.
There're still things what need to change so both sides can have more fun:
- Keys/Moris, NOED and Hatch need a rework
- Huntress IRIs need a rework
- Survivor Second chance Perks need a limit per Survivor (DS, BT, Unbreakable, Adrenaline)
- SWFs need a action-debuff per SWF
- 99% gates need a rework (make it so it decreases like gens do with Ruin)

but the problem is redusing huge amount of tiles, this scares me, and i feel this step will kill the game.

The problem with camping/tunneling/slugging is, that you really need this from time to time as killer in certain situations and it is near to impossible to determine automatically when it is needed and viable and when it is just lazy/toxic. I read many suggestions promoting "it's ez to fix" while they are tunnel visioned on their own frustration and not seeing what the suggestion would cause.
And to the changes: Sabo change, Kindred and Hunch buff, several (not to say A LOT) of changes to Freddy/Spirit/GF/Legion addons. As well as slight Spirit nerfs and a major Nurse nerf. There is still stuff going on for survivors, just at the moment less than for killers, which is needed since the Ruin change took too much effect on the game.
I now realise, after hating the Ruin nerf pretty much, that this perk rework was a kickoff to a major rework of the game. And the last months the devs pretty much showed that they are not x-sided in any way. So I guess this is again a step we need to wait and see how strongly the changes effect the game and make/propose changes afterwards.

No one cares that god loops are nerfed. The issue is that maps are wayy smallee and have huge deadzones

I don't rely on it, but it's used just in case the match gets there. I'm still working through the match. the same can be said of adrenaline, if you have it more than likely you are relying on that instant heal and speed boost when the last gen is done. Don't be lumping everyone into one group when you don't know what you're talking about. you say it's bad killers that use it because that's how you see it if it is used. no, you are part of the problem by thinking this.

I agree however camping and tunneling can't be fixed with this games design, best devs can do is punish the killers point gains but if the killer wants someone dead then they dont care about points. but I also agree with all the nerf's survivors have gotten because a good team using everything they could to win was unbeatable but now killers have a chance to compete with those groups even tho they can still do gens in 5 minutes.
I guess what im saying is that so far every change that survivors have complained about has been justified and currently besides swf groups the next problems in this game is map size/layout, gen speeds, and keys and mori's both of which should be changed at the same time.

I love how you get so upset by a small analysis of a perks use from my experience, but hey that's fine it doesn't change the fact the majority of users who use NoeD are typically bad players. Funny thing is you act like I'm the sole person who says this as well. Many many players say this on both sides. Probably hundreds if not more threads on this topic. Some killers refuse to use NoeD because either they find it cheap/unearned/waste of a slot. Some Survivors have the same feelings for Adrenaline and DS.
So when I say I think it's a good perk used by bad players no I'm not a part of a problem it's an opinion. There's significantly better perks for end game or in general so why bother wasting a slot.

They're not actually infinites, those refer to loops using a window where it was impossible to get the survivor no matter how many times you did the loop since the entity didn't block windows back then. A more proper term would be god loops since now no loop in this game with a window is infinite anymore, these loops usually are just extremely safe to the point where the survivor can use it the full 3 times and still not get hit. The only infinites that exist in this game are those created with pallets since the entity can't block them however that is fine since they can be destroyed.

Dont cry because your "mind game" got removed, survivors are 4 people vs 1 killer, literally the game is severely unbalanced by default. Now if you add in the tears of the survivor mains, sprinkle a little "ItS toO oP", and every complaint about how killers are "waaay too strong", you get your basic every day crying survivor, I quit playing because of people like you that attempt to rally a fanbase to destroy balance,as if the Devs have not destroyed it as it is, this game is severely survivor leaning so much so that you survivors make dumb posts like yours because "there's no counter to this or that". So gtfoh with that , the Devs already see your complaints survivors, and they are surely going to fix them before they even attempt to balance the game. You will get your "mind game" back, and then you can "pop off" and claim to be a "good survivor"
