Dead by Daylight is in trouble!
I'm not going to go into depth about a particular side. Making a balanced asymmetrical game is difficult. The problem is: people are getting tired of the imbalances that lie within. It has been said "If you don't like it, play another game". Well.....Other appealing options are becoming available and many people are walking away. Bhvr has been aware of the unfairness for a very long time. Changes that should have been implemented years ago are just being added. I love dbd, but if it dies because of their refusal to address issues, then so be it.

The game is far from being as imbalanced as the people on the forum exclaim it to be, a lot of the people here are just terrible players, honestly.

Let's see what the asymmetrical gaming landscape looks like in a month or two and then we can have this discussion.
It's too early right now and everyone is in the honeymoon phase of new game bliss.

I don't even think I belong in Red Ranks.
Purple and Green ranks suit me best but this game has been so easy for survivors lately.

I'll agree that some people over exaggerate it and it's not ALWAYS as bad, BUT for the times that it actually IS, is what I speak of. The extent of the issues are undeniable and the fact that they are finally adjusting certain things mean they actually care, to some extent now.

It's bigger than just a month or two. Change is coming. There's just one game that was released and they're panicking with the newest update. There's 2 or 3 promising games lined up that pose bigger threats than the one that was just released. The time for them to fix things is now, but they waited so long that idk..... I'll definitely be curious to see what happens in the future though. I hope to see dbd still breathing.

I watched Evolve die, twice :(
Dbd certainly has done better than Evolve but this game isn't doing so well right now.

Tonight alone, I've lost all 8 trials and can't get over 7500 points, with the bonuses! I went from purple to barely hanging on to green. But it's the game, nothing is going my way tonight. But I'm not going to complain about changes, because I'll have a good run of things again (hopefully soon). It bugs me how players make a big deal about things, when the reality is that we're going to have bad streaks and killers or survivors will have our number, it's just the way it goes sometimes.

We all have our bad nights. I had mine a couple days ago(literally some eggheads told me to quit playing), but I soldiered on for one more match and had a very pleasant experience.
You don't have to be good at the game, remember that. And your rank by and large does not matter. In fact, the closer you get to red ranks, the more meta the killers tend to get, which doesn't make for much fun when you know they're going to be playing the same four or five killers in rotation.

honestly i still feel like the only competitor this game ever really had was Friday the 13th the game with the other games i know of they are either to different while still being in the same genre like resident evil Resistance which a lot of people dont like that type of more tactical approach or not out yet like predator hunting grounds so its to soon to tell yet with that game plus this game has a lot of licensed killers which does bring in some new players to the game when they release so honestly i say its to soon to tell
