This game is not dying just on steam it’s 24 hour peak was 44k players
i think it’s funny that people think this game is going to die...when in fact it’s doing very well even before this pandemic it’s Peak (On steam) was 31k Ish and that’s just on steam ..there’s probably a lot more on ps4,Xbox there’s also switch and phone if you put all these together then that’s a lot of people

Yeah, I never really understood where 'this game is dying' came from. BHVR also said that there was about the same amount of people on ps4 and xbox, and that switch was just a bit behind.

Search Concurrent players for DBD, then search for Friday the 13th... you'll see what dead is.

Its not like some player claiming the game is dying or not changes reality sooo yeah, who cares?

But any game with less players than Fortnite is clearly dead 🙃

i
i want it to get close to dead or get competion so then they might work harder cause atm the only big change in the past 4 months was the infintes and maybe the self care one maybe a few ones on perks but now many big ones except for dlcs and cosmetics they add cosmetics alot but they dont work on many broken things im just saying

I feel like its the same thing as minecraft where people keep saying its dying despite it still being really popular i think part of it is they are wanting it to die and for something to come and replace it

Arent people claiming fortnite is dying now though besides dead by Daylight is a more niche genre than fortnite and fortnite is free as well so you dont have to pay anything to start playing

it just erks me when people say the game is dying when it’s clearly not lol there either lying and just want it to or completely delusional the reason it erks me is because I have like 3k hrs or close to that into this game I play it every day so I care about it

Yeah, because for some bizarre reason it always works. It always makes people defensive and angry no matter how absurd of a claim it might be for the game in question.
It's honestly an "issue" exacerbated by the reliance on matchmaking systems in every game nowadays, at least on PC. With a server browser even games with like 600-800 global players can be easily playable as the players in each region can just concentrate into a handful of servers.

all of that players are casuals, players than have 500-1000 hours.
