How ruin should've been fixed
No great skill check and decreased size of skill check zone when ruin is up
20% Decrease (20 Charges Lost When Hit a Good Skill Check)

Depends on how much it would get decreased, otherwise it would be imo worse than current ruin.

You think your Ruin idea is a better perk than the current one that regresses a gen not being repaired at double the speed that it took a survivor to repair to that percent, eg 40 seconds worth of repairs (50%) are regressed to 0% in 20 seconds?

This would basically be like old Ruin but much weaker. Good Survivors would not care at all about it while new Survivors would suffer. Nah.

20% when you hit a normal one

Ruin should have been removed as a Hex perk.

As a survivor main, you are welcome to have this change made. 😂

Thankyou survivor main

Actually Ruin double the speed that it took a gen to regress if killer kicks it. So it regress 0.5 of survivor repairing speed.

So yeah, worse than actual ruin.
Would have to be like... Even Unnvering levels of power. (and ofc not stackable)

At that point, it just falls into the same problem as old ruin. Noobstomper, useless against high ranks. Wouldn't even bother cleansing that one lol

Would you bother cleansing 10% one..?

No, this whole idea is garbo.

What made old Ruin a viable band aid fix to gen speeds was the fact that it could stop generator repair progress. Anything that couldn't do something that potent wouldn't have been able to replace it. However, with this next patch, it looks like devs could potentially tone down the gen speed issue that made Ruin so necessary to begin with. Can't tell until they finalize the patch and it goes live though.

For ruin change yes. For a new perk however....

So just better Unnerving?

That can get cleansed, cause it would probably retain it's hex status.

Eh. I don't want something that only punishes low-ranks based on a Hex (like old Ruin) in the game ever again tbh.

How about increasing the regession rate to be equal to progession... that would be worth keeping it a hex perk
