Let us see Killer Pings
The only ping that matter in a game is the one we can't see. If i get hit from a mile away and later the Steam profile says he is playing from the middle of nowhere, its really annoying as its nothing I could have done

Ping is based on the server now not the killer. When you join the lobby, the ping you see is what you will get. Killer lagging will only affect the killer swings, not your reactions. So if a killer has bad ping, it benefits you more, not less.

What are you smoking? Bad killer ping is a big deal because Killers have priority on hits.

This is true. They have us seeing Survivor ping in the PTB but nobody cares about that.
At this point, I'd take the peer 2 peer system back simply to see the Killer's ping again lmao

As of rn,killer decides whether the hit will connect or not,and not the server.

What are you smoking? Go join a game as a killer with 300 ping and see how you can play.

I don't know how that changes Killers deciding confirmed hits.

^ this, if the hit connected on the killer side, if it looked for them that they got the hit, then the server grants them the hit.
Even though for the survivor they were on the other side of the planet.
I have had a game like that recently, its rare but oh boy was it an experience.

Uh, no, that is completely wrong lmao
if the killer is playing from a McDonald’s in rural Wisconsin and has 300 ping, he is going to be hitting people who on their screens don’t even hear or see the killer.
a good example is to boot up a VPN and play off of that, i had to on campus for a few days, it was akin to using a lag switch- it was that unfair for them.
nobody cares about survivor ping, it’s killer ping that affects the match
