No. Best just to slam the gens.

1 for 1 is what I was able to accomplish but then I got face camped to death, short answer: depends on how bad the facecamp is but make sure you use BT

You have to bait him to chainsaw/m1, then save during the cooldown and then they body block with BT. You could still go down because LF swipes multiple times and BT blocks only one, then he could get the rescuer and even the rescued if they linger around.
Another possibility is doing the above AND having Deliverance AND DS AND Unbreakable AND DH/SB, they don't bodyblock this time, and maybe you get away with the trade and then unhooking yourself. Keyword: maybe.
However, the crucial point is that you need LF to mess up at some point in order to have a chance at a trade and mess even more for both of you to get away with it. High-risk/low-reward. Never worth it, imho.

You have the wrong mindset to even try, if a player/killer does not want to actually play the game, then dont play the game.
Just do gens and leave, dont reward the behavior otherwise they will just keep doing it, its amazing how silly surviors are in that regard, you cant even blame the killer at that point.

No. It will pretty much only be a hook trade.

Yeah I agree the only real way is to get him to start the chainsaw animation and avoid getting hit, then rescue with BT. This is incredibly difficult to do btw.

Hell no. In that situation just leave the Survivor. Tear through the remaining gens.

Not really but that won't stop a lot from trying. I've had a bubba revving his chainsaw in my face as I'm hooked -in the basement- -with kindred- and the other three all came down to 'help' and ended up in there too. Unless you like being facecamped don't reward the behaviour.

Basicly not unless the leatherface is a potato and you can make him bump into the hook and while he is in the stun animation you can unhook very fast. But this is not reliable, you should just push the gens.

In addition to Borrowed Time, Sprint Burst has helped me. You can bait by letting him get close (risky, server lag if he gets too close), or go in the oppo direction in which he is running towards you. So say you're in the basement, and he runs at you from the left, you SB towards the right. Worked a couple of times for me.

At best, you can trade. Even with BT it is not guaranteed that the guy you unhooked can get away. So if someone is camped by a Leatherface, do Gens and dont feed him more Kills. And if you are camped by a Leatherface, at least dont ######### to give your team time to do Gens. Sucks for the person on the hook but thats the best they can do.

Best case you trade. Most common case you fail to even unhook. Rarely you'll unhook and both end up on the ground (in which case LF can't pick up the person who just got off the hook, because DS might be in play)
